We had fun. Hard to get drinks because the crowd was too large due to the fact that the Totally 80's band was playing. Good band! Also glad they've added wine and champagne to their menu. 4 stars instead of five because of cover charge and slow bar service.

We really enjoyed the beer and the company. Jesse (the owner) was very polite, kind and professional. My husband stopped in for the first time and the beer was delicious. The history of beer on the wall was very educational and simply fascinating to read over an IPA. We will visit again for sure!

What a cool spot! Breweries seem to be a dime a dozen these days but this one was my favorite so far! Located deep in an industrial park, it is spacious and comfortable! The Saturday I was there, they had two outdoor bands playing from about 5-10. You could hear the band from inside if you didn't want to be outside and inside was comfortable (and quieter) enough to have a conversation or play board games or catch up with your people. The beers are good, cold, strong and like $7 so all in all - totally worth it!

Came to see Shinebox (my son Antaeus is the bass player) They always give 100% If you're looking for a great time don't miss them! The venue was outdoors so bring a jacket cause it can get cool here. The taco vendor was good too. All in all a good spot and a great show!

Checked out this venue to see live music just 2 miles from our house. WOW....this place is getting back to it in a big way. We paid for and saw opening act Film Speed and the Robert Jon and The Wreck on an outdoor stage. Both bands were so good, really fine musicians! Inside there was a DJ mixing it up all night and at one point had a guitarist and saxophone joining in, never seen that before. Our friends enjoyed several great beers while we tried the seltzer with juice since we were the DDs. A 3 item limited menu rounded out a really fun evening!!! Try this place out for sure!!

Ebullition is a very nice brewery and it has space for when you go there with friends. However, there is not a lot of space when they have events. If you go there to see a band be prepared to stand, if there is no band is pretty likely you will have a place to sit. The beer is pretty good, they have different types of beer for different tastes. Great laid back vibe on a regular weekday, or a fun concert venue on the weekend, and even a legit spot to go to for trivia night. San Diego seemed to be flooded with breweries over the last decade. Ebullition should definitely be on the todo list for anyone visiting or local. They're not afraid of making original beer or seltzer styles. Probably because they actually pull it off constantly which creates a beer that keeps you coming back for seconds. I'm a bit of a particular beer drinker and they seem to be using high quality, fresh ingredients that you can only find at a brewery that isn't producing for the entire country. I recommend their hazy IPA, or even one of their pilsners. One time they had a pilsner that was 6%+ that was super legit (and kinda snuck up on you if you know what I mean, lol) tl;dr check this place out. you won't be disappointed. And oh yeah, special shout out to Jesse, one of the owners I met last time I was there. Thanks for the recommendations!
