This is our favorite Mexican restaurant of all time. My wife and I are both from AZ; and we have lived all over the United States. The food is so good. The fried ice cream is also the best. Highly recommend.

Luckily for us the parking lot was empty but I can see there being an issue on a busier day. The restaurant itself is in the corner of a shopping center and you would not think it is what it was, you walk in and it's marvelous.! Open seating/ bar seating. The attending staff said we can seat ourselves and someone will be right over. It wasn't very crowded and our server came over took our drinks order and left menus. We ordered and chatted. Food came over. Really exceptional! All was delicious and tasty! It has been a long time since I've had actual realistic Mexican food. I really recommend and will definitely return.

Waitress tried talk smack about me not drinking enough. Extremely rude with her condescending remarks in spanish. I understood what you said. I don't recommend this place if you are white.

The Mexican food here is some of the best we’ve found in and around Vista. The service is good as well. The menu has lots of great choices. The meals are well prepared, the prices and portions are great !I plan to be a regular customer from now on.Parking: The parking lot serves other businesses nearby as well.Kid-friendliness: There are a plenty of options for kids too.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy parking near the door. There’s a ramp for wheelchairs, etc.

Our new favorite hidden Vista gem. Incredible burritos and tacos. We love coming here to order a carnitas plate and exactly two beers. Definitely don’t take your date here, we have to keep this place a secret as long as possible.

Very bad service, I went on a Sunday with my family and a young woman who was a waitress was very distracted with some customers that I suppose she knows because she was only with them and didn't pay attention to the others. She was very unpleasant, just out of politeness, I didn't say anything but I'm not back. but there!

It was a good indication this was a bad idea when the chips tasted old & the salsa seem poured from a can. I requested cream, and I got ranch sauce. He requested machaca & he got eggs & chorizo. My ranchero steak was ok except for the tomato sauce that was impossible to digest. There are so many good Mexican restaurants in Vista, but this one is not one of them.

Awesome people, real homemade food. They helped me walk through the menu and what I wanted. Even the people that eat there are nice.-- They put rice in the salt shakers to shake it better and reduce moisture - genius! --

I was lucky enough to grow up just a block away from this amazing Mexican food restaurant. For over 20 years the same lady has owned and operated this place. Many improvements have been made to the inside. The painted murals of Mexican landscapes decorate the walls beautifully. When I was there recently, a mariachi band came in to play for the patrons. It was amazing! But I’m so grateful that the carne asada burritos and the taste of the BEST Mexican food in North County San Diego is still exactly as I remember it. I’m also grateful to be back in the area, so I no longer have to drive 45+ minutes to get my cravings satisfied. If you’re lucky enough to find this tiny, hidden gem here in Vista,CA then I highly recommend you stopping in and grabbing something to eat. You’ll never regret it. I know I never have. Yum! ? The burrito is so fat and juicy, it just drips down your arm as you try to eat it. OOMG! Delicious.

This is a hidden gem of this shopping center I wish we had gone here sooner. They even had it decorated super cute for Valentines day.Parking: This parking lot is also a high school bus stop for the late day bus run. It was so busy when we arrived. I think it was about 4:45 pm.
