I think they are out of business... Came to purchase some equipment but the price they advertised wasnt what they posted. Another victim of covid shutdown

The food here is 10/10 I've been coming here since I was little and it never disappoints! The waiters are all so nice, and check on the tables every 5 minutes.

I came here with my brother and his girlfriend. We waited 25-30 minutes for our order which is already very long but they also somehow forgot our quesadilla. That was the first thing we ordered. I am severely disappointed in the fact we waited that long to have an order forgotten. I came back only for them to say it will take another 20 minutes to make. I am beyond annoyed, disappointed and let down by this place. Do not come here

I have visited several times. Food is always prepared authentically and tastes delicious. Had the Chimi burrito and both the sauces were great. Prices are very reasonable. Plenty of parking. I will go back.

The Chile relleno plate was very good

We last ate here in 2019 and the food was very good. I don't know if they have new owners but the menu is very different and the food was awful. There are no fish tacos on the menu so I ordered the whole fish which was very dried out. My husband got the house so special which was very salty. That was the worst lunch I have had in years.

I used to get the best Chile Verde around from the old owner of El Ranchero. Those days are gone. The Verde burrito now is inedible. If I hadn't ordered it to go, I would have returned it in disgust. On top of that, their 2 salsa choices are frankly, disgusting. I've never had worse green salsa.

It was so disappointing. We drove from Carlsbad to this "popular menudo restaurant" to find out they have sold out at 11am ( maybe it is that good) I don't know and won't never know. I order pozole and after waiting for a while the guy comes to tell me they have also sold out. I keep my hopes up since that could be a good sign. So I order the caldo de res. What a bummer... so disappointed. I couldn't eat it. The broth smelled wired, the potatoes were not peeled and dirty and the corn was cold. I sent it back. And still we paid a bill of over $35 dollars for one California burrito, and an ordered of 3 chicken roll tacos for my daughter ( also very nasty) and 2 ( technically small) horchatas. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because my husband like the burrito and the server was very nice, that's it. Don't waist your time and money at this place.

The restaurant is under a new name and unfortunately may have switched hands since I was here last. The food is not all all the same. Beans were too runny and too spicy, rice was bland, tacos flavorless. Ordering by phone was difficult. I will not be returning. I really hope they can turn things around.

I don't know what kind of seasoning they use on their rice, but the funky smell that came off of it reminded me of barn floor... I don't know why. And not in a good way that I wanted to smell it while trying to eat my "beef enchiladas" which were no more than unfried rolled tacos with really dry shredded beef inside. I mean really dry, so dry it was on it's way to beef jerky. And the beans were watery and also funky tasting. Just gross. Just no. I miss the old place that was here...

Just tried to call 4 times to place an order. They're across the street from me, but they're partying hard with the music blasting so they can't hear the phone. Guess they don't need business.

5 star review was for previous restaurant, EL Ranchero. No claim on the quality under new ownership.

This place is awesome! Super fresh and and flavorful and they use quality ingredients. The staff is so nice. I highly recommend this place!

Ordered a chimichanga for take out and was very disappointed over the quality of the food. The sauce did not taste authentic, the chicken tasted dry, and the tortilla was soggy like if it was microwaved. I really hope they take the peoples feedback into consideration in order for them to thrive.
