First time visitor last night. Called in a pick up order. Food was ready and hot when I got there. Reasonably priced. Jack was very friendly. Good atmosphere. We got the grilled chicken sandwich, Texas bbq burger, fried zucchini, and fried green beans. We like to try a lot of thing when we try new placesFood was still hot when I brought it home. Good taste and quality. It’s been a while since a restaurant provided a solid grilled chicken sandwich. Really really good. We’ll be back!

Jacksons is a place that just feels like home. The staff is always so warm and welcoming, and Jack himself RARELY takes a day off. Between the amazing service, wonderful food, and intimate atmosphere, this has become our favorite place in Vista!

Larry and I had a great meal at Jackson Sports Bar and Grill after Vista Chamber's Hero's event! I had the meatloaf with greenbeans and mashed potatoes. Larry had chicken fried steak, green beans and mash potatoes. It felt like we were at grandma's house - home cooking at it's best! Jack, the owner, Kimmie and Kayla our servers were so friendly! Love this new restaurant in Vista! We'll be back! Muscle Meditation approved!

Cool little spot, real mellow, food pretty good, fair prices. I had brisket dip sandwich, was real good not over board on the smoke flavor. Definitely will come back to try more menu items.
Had a nice lunch with my wife on Saturday. Shared a bowl of chili and each had a cinnamon roll. Delicious

The portions were too big (like a ton of lettuce on my sandwich and a huge basket of fries that we didn't even come close to finishing. The quality of the food tasted average. It felt like they were struggling and maybe cutting corners. The layout was weird with two separate areas, but I think they only had one side open because there weren't many customers at the time. I parked in the back and was confused how to enter, but there is only street parking in front, so I feel like there should be signage to make it more obvious that you are not walking into an employee area.
