Ordered tonight tinfo that might have been an issue I knew the soup dumplings were going to be a little off. But I didn’t think the bbq pork would be so tough and hard to eat. The walnut shrimp was good. Will try again.

So good! I've been here a number of times now and everything I've tried has been wonderful. I especially love the duck, the garlic snow pea leaves, the onion lamb, and any of the salt-and-pepper entrees. Portions are huge. Staff are friendly and efficient, and it's a nice, open casual place to hang out, talk, and enjoy a great meal.

We found this place after visiting Living Spaces Furniture in Vista yesterday and what a great find it was. Sparkling clean restaurant, incredible service and food was amazing, reasonable prices considering the generous portions you receive . We had salt and pepper shrimp that was just right on the breading and pork/shrimp buns. I'll be back just for lunch often. Try it!

With the overwhelming positive reviews of this place I'm so sad that everything I've tried has not been good. My last attempt at going was last week on my lunch break, I decided to try what is typically two of my favorite things to get, cream cheese wontons and walnut shrimp. The place is pretty empty and the food comes out within 10 minutes even with the seeming large amount of to go orders they have. Start to eat my food and immediately notice the wontons aren't crispy in the slightest. Weird as they just got made, maybe those got cooked first and they let them sit while making the shrimp dish? I'll never know but the real mishap here is the walnut shrimp. It's off-putting and incredibly sour! Nothing in it should be sour, it was so gross. I decide to take the rest of my food home to let my bf try out and he even said the walnut shrimp reminded him of a sickly sweet coleslaw base. Also worth nothing they do add a fee to help "cover the rising cost of" blah blah blah, seriously just pay your employees more. It's always packed in there I'm sure you can afford it. Another reason I will not be going back. Honesty, go around the corner to Pho Truc Xanh and get infinitely better food for a lot cheaper.

Quick review this time. Took the mrs out for a mid week dinner. The kungpao chicken came out extremely fast. As if it was pre-made it was very saucy and sweet. The spring rolls were nice The green beans tasted salty Overall a decent dinner. But a step down from previous experience

Update review: Food is a little salty this time round Service is fantastic. Hubby's kung pao chicken is not as spicy as we like it to be - even though we said asian kind of spicy like they normally eat. It is also sweeter than expected. Steamed pork with preserved vegetables is reminiscent of home. Pork was melting into my mouth. The preserved vegetable is, however, more salty than i was used to. But still good. The green beans with garlic were also salty. But it was good with rice. Brought everything home, super large portions. Service was fantastic last night. Our server kept checking on us. Ambiance didn't change much from last time.

The duck and pork belly, forgot to take a pic, were amazing. Service was great. No wonder this place is so highly rated. Big portions, so prepare to bring some home. ;)

The food here is so good! The scallion pancake, salt & pepper shrimp, chow mein, and fried rice are delicious. Of course, the dumplings are too. I love how they sell frozen dumplings so you can have them at home any time. My favorite are the beef & onion.

It was our first time here today and may be the last. We ordered xiao long bao, shumai, combination fried rice, beef wonton noodles, salt and pepper shrimp and the custard bun. Most foods were salty especially the beef noodles. The fried rice is a bit mushy but tasty. Our least favorite was the salt and pepper shrimp which was droooooowwn in oil. The ambiance is nice and lots of has lots of parking

I really enjoyed this place. There was a large menu with a lot of selection, but I really was looking for dumplings and these were so good. We also ordered a noodle dish, which was really tasty, it could have used a bit more beef in it but it was still really good. The food came out really quickly, and the service was also good. This isn't a very fancy place but it's clean and the tables aren't too crowded, so you don't feel super packed in. Overall it was a great experience.

Our party of 12 loved it here! We made reservations in advance and when we arrived, two tables were almost done so they had us wait a little so they could put two rectangles together instead of having us squeeze in a circle. The staff are super efficient. Took our order immediately, and we got food QUICK. Piping hot eggplants, savory (chewy) XLBs, juicy pork buns, Spam fried rice, popcorn chicken, wonton soup, and the list goes on. I was impressed that they were able to handle a full house + a larger party like us with no delay/errors. My entire party was very impressed (their first time here) and I'm so glad I didn't mess it up for them bc I recommended this place! Good ol' trusty Joyee's. Many don't think of this place bc of how small certain locations are, but this location is plenty roomy for larger parties. Did I also mention that the price is right with this restaurant! Many restaurants are charging well over $20/per plate with not a proportionate size, but here - the portions are pretty generous and I think many dishes were still under the $20 mark. We had leftovers. All in all, I am happy to report that we'll be coming back to support Joyee's any chance we get.

Dumplings of any choice are divine and Mongolian beef is delicious but take note, the heat is not for the faint of heart.

Food was great. I called ahead just to make sure we could be seated. When we arrived they seated us quickly. Our service was great too. Ambiance is very casual. I ordered the spicy wontons, XLB. Both were a little on the doughy side but tasted fine. The garlic green beans are so flavorful, along with the szechan beef. My boyfriend LOVED the salt and pepper wings. We're looking forward to going back.
