Tried the jefe torta, lemonade with dragon and their strawberry and mango smoothie today with my mom and everything was so delicious! I live in east county, lakeside and have been to Chula Vista and el Cajon to try tortas but this place by far has been my favorite, ever! They are so friendly and have the best customer service! Have never had someone welcome me with a smile the entire time like them. It is a drive for me but I will definitely be back! To top it off, they have amazing prices! Will recommend to my family and friends :)

I got a tropical smoothie with almond milk and OMG DELICIOUS! It's the perfect size & perfect price. I went a little before closing so only got a smoothie but will be back to try their sandwiches. The two people working were very friendly and my smoothie was out pretty quick.

La Banana fruits is sooooo good! I had a Lomo Torta and the whole sandwich tasted fresh and reminded me of authentic Mexican sandwiches. They use fresh ingredients and the food tastes like it’s made with so much passion and love. You definitely have to come try it out.

The owners working In there and their kids are ALWAYS sooo sweet and you can tell they really care about their restaurant. I just got the chipotle chicken sandwich and the tostilocos and both were seriously delicious!! Both items were SO fresh and you could really tell. This place is seriously so yummy!

We tried one of their dragon fruit drinks at a street fair and loved it, so we decided to try their store location. This was our first visit to the La Banana store front and it was all perfect. The interior was a little basic, but that's fine with me. We did find a bunch of little characters throughout the store, which was fun for my daughter. The owners were present and described all their food selections in detail. We decided on the Chicken Chipotle torta and Chicken Caesar salad. After we ordered that, we spotted the homemade flan and had to get that too. I was told the flan is a family secret recipe. We took all the food home and shared. Everything was packaged nicely and it was all delicious. If you like flan, you have to give it a try because it was delicious. Support local and give LBF a shot.

I have been trying to leave a review for a while but everytime I start..I keep going and never finish the review as I get distracted during the 10000 seconds I take to type that long review. So today is the day.Okay..where do I even start. I love this place! I have never been disappointed in any of their products. Everything is fresh..everything is amazing. Their smoothies are delicious and they give you the option to control the sugar amount. I have tried all of their smoothies and they're all amazing. They give you the option for non dairy milks. Their fruit is too good to be true..always juicy and fresh! Their waters are yumalicious and they look stunning!! Their tortas are to die for. My favorite is the chicken chipotle one. The chicken is just the right amount of tender and rightly flavored. And..the flan..O MY GOD!! I like the chocolate flan more but both of them just deserve to be on your cheat meal. They are hommemade and you can feel the warmth they've been baked with. And..the most important..they are so wecoming! Laura, Sean, lluvia and Sean (I hope I spelled you all correctly) would give you the best customer service. If you are a regular, you may end up getting some smoothie or fruit samples. These people are so kind! I love talking to all of them. In a world where everyone is finding reasons to divide, this family just gives me so much hope. Lovely people..and I am not even exaggerating. The kids are so smart and have amazing sketching skills. I understand that this has nothing to do with the food here, but I just can't emphasize enough on how amazing the ambience of this place is. Lovely family owned business with great food selection and even better taste! Their service was great, super attentive and the environment was cozy. The açaí bowl I got was the PB and the picture didn't do the justice since I took it after I started scrambling it! They also had art for sale and of course I'm a spam jam fan so I had to buy one. Overall great service will be back again soon!
