Absolutely stunning authentic Mexican food I ordered the fish taco and carbs asada taco and was shocked with the high level of ingredients and original flavors. The fish tacos batter had the perfect ratio and the fish was cooked wonderfully and the carbs asada taco had high quality steak with great tortillas and overall excellent Mexican food.

Everything we've ever ordered has been so good. They really seem to care about the food they put out here. Taste, quality, texture and presentation. It is our go-to for seafood tacos and it is a short drive from Bonsall which doesn't have many food options. The battered fish tacos are some of the best we've had.

This is one of those spots that I don't really want to drop a 5 star review on because its so good and such a hidden gem. One of those spots you just want to keep for yourself so there is not a crazy line when you go back. Well its also one of those places that you just have to share with your fellow yelpers like a good elite should. Wow talk about fresh ! I went on Taco Tuesday and the fish tacos are only $2 bucks, this is a great value, very large size. The service was friendly and the wait was not long at all. They even gave me a small cup of consommé (Mexican soup for you gringos) . I need to come back and try different things on the menu but the fish tacos are a solid 10 out 10.
Hidden find in Vista area! Ordered Mix tostadas, fish tacos (yes Taco Tuesday deal), and carne asada fries (Special that day). Everything was delicious and did not skimp on ceviche. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. Agree that parking is difficult but service was fast. Given a cup of consommé (piping hot and fresh), while waiting. Wish they were closer and could add another star.

Saw the 5 star rating on yelp and headed over the hill, all we wanted to try in SoCal were fish tacos! La Perla did not disappoint, the grilled and fried tacos were amazing! And the carne asada fries were the bomb!! And a cup of free shrimp soup while you wait, it was awesome! Fish Taco Shrimp Soup
