Great to see them back open.

Mother Earth and Lost Abbey are back! Two of my favorites have taken on a joint venture in South Vista. I'm happy to see that the tasting room is much larger than it used to be and they did a great job with the atmosphere and decor. This place is absolutely worth checking out, especially if you're a fan of either brewery. They still make delicious drinks!

Typical warehouse brewery setup with two breweries on location: Mother Earth and Lost Abby. Locals vibe. Pretty large and varied selection of beers. Each brewery also have canned beers to go with food trucks on the weekend evenings offer a food option. Also directly across the street from Colab if you want to keep the food and drinks going after a visit here.

The California home of Cali creamin. What more can be said, great friendly service and even better beer! Highly recommend a flight to try a bunch of them out

So glad they are back! New tasting room is nice with a mix of the original ME and Lost Abbey decor. Will be made even better when the lost abbey side opens.

Happy Grand Re-opening Mother Earth! After quite a lengthy hiatus, Mother Earth has an all new taproom in Vista. & they're right back where it all began, in the building with their original brewery. I have to admit, I missed having a place to go for Mother Earth beers on tap. I'm certainly glad to see them back. On day 1 back in town, the place is jumpin'. It's nice to see word got out as 1 of the OG's of the Hop Highway is absolutely worth supporting. To christen the new taproom, a shared space w/ Lost Abbey, I got a taster flight of a couple of their new beers & a couple classics. It was all good. Of course. As always. Service was friendly. Live music was boomin'. The crowd had a lively vibe. URBN pizza was out back with a popup. The space itself is pretty standard industrial brewery taproom setup. Welcome back to Vista, Mother Earth. Though you never really left, it's great seeing you here again.

It's been months since the Vista location tasting room closed. I heard from previous comments that Mother Earth is trying to find a new tasing room down here, but it just feels like they're letting down their headquarters region as we've seen no updates. ?

Disappointing Mother Earth has given up on SoCal and has moved to Idaho. Best of luck to them.

It’s the best beer I have ever tasted! My favorite of all time is their “Cali Creamin”

Google and Yelp report that Mother Earth Brewing has closed. Google says it's temporary but I guess time will tell on that.So in that case I feel grateful to have snagged a beer from this brewery before these events unfolded. The one beer we got was called In Memoriam. This is a tribute beer and not a bad one at that. It's a hazy New England IPA which was surprisingly good as I often feel the best ones come from the east coast and Mother Earth is a west coast brewery. The hops are just right for this beer and proves itself to being a good beer for this IPA style. Very satisfying.

Slightly outdated review, so beers may have rotated! The brewery wasn't crowded, but there was still a wait being that 12 tables were occupied with beer sipping, pizza munching patrons, and one bartender. It also doesn't help that everybody was trying to get tasters, which takes longer because the glasses have to be rinsed and re-rinsed or another. I first came across Mother Earth beers because their vanilla cream ale "Cali cream'" caught my eye at the store. It happened to be next to Belching Beaver's peanut butter stout, which is attention grabbing all by its cute self. I thought the vanilla ale was just fine and nursed the bottle over a span of a few hours, but I think the rest of my crew pulled their weight. I really wanted to try the extra peanut-y peanut butter stout but they were out so I went with Sin tax, the regular peanut butter stout. My drinking companion claimed the Pin Up, a pale ale, was the best thing on the tap. I asked for a splash of kismet, an IPA, and thought it was alright. The bottle brought from a grocery store is the same price as a brewery bottle. The layout is open and slightly chilly. Dogs are allowed. Seating is available inside and outside but either side is cold and jackets are recommended. Verdict: It's a cool place!

A 2020 Summer goes well with a Cali Creamin' Creamsicle pour made by M.E. right now! Such a hot item because it's one delicious and satisfying beverage that does go with everything! I highly suggest this one while keepin' the social distance with your backyard carne asada fiesta! An Apex beverage to have in your tech breakroom rec. room, and an absolute party accompanying flavor for any occasion. An amazing delicious vanilla included. A must try! Stay cool San Diego!
