Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Place was pretty packed along with many TVs on the wall. I ordered the reuben sandwich and it was excellent. We also ordered some nachos and it was loaded. I checked out some pizzas on the table next door and it looked delicious. Highly recommend visiting this location. Cheers

We hadn't stopped by in a while but coming back from Temecula was a great excuse. Spacious and always friendly. Had the Proco and ordered both the fried pickles and green beans. Both SO SO good. I'd give an edge to the pickles but...

Prohibition is a rustic little joint in northeast Vista. It has a large bar and dining room with a fun Al Capone era vibe. For my purposes, it offered a good selection of burgers with creative names and unique recipes. The burgers are half pound hand formed all beef patties with several side choices. I ordered the Santa Fe Chipotle Burger. It's a meal sized burger with lettuce, tomato, thin sliced red onion, chipotle mayo, pepper jack cheese, Ortega Chili and avocado, I ordered it medium rare with onion rings. My friend's daughter, Abby ordered "a regular cheeseburger" with cheddar cheese, medium well. Our food was served quick and hot. At first blush, it looked awesome. My onion rings were huge, obviously crispy and looked excellent. The first bite was a juicy taste explosion, although it was medium not medium rare as I ordered, but it was so substantial, juicy and tasty, I almost didn't care. The Ortega chili was very generous, and the patty was charbroiled and delicious. There was ample leaf lettuce, tomato and red onion. The chipotle mayo was evident but not very prominent though. The sandwich held together well and was very satisfying. Abby's Cali Burger was cooked medium well, exactly as she ordered. She said it was "very good" (she's not a teen of many words). She and I both were very happy with our side choices, mine onion rings, hers was French fries. Pricing was I would say at the top of the appropriate range for an independent, locally owned, theme style restaurant, both at $17.99. There is a large menu with many appetizers, salads, handhelds and of course craft beer choices. I had been to Prohibition before, and my food choices then were also very good. This visit on my "burger snob" expedition was way above satisfied. I love these little non chain, non-fast food, independent places with creative themes, unique menus and well thought out amenities such as family friendly menus and highchairs and boosters, a separate more adult option with a lively bar in which you can eat and ample parking. This was a very enjoyable meal from beginning to end. I would highly recommend Prohibition Brewing Co.#ProhibitionBrewingCo

We go to Prohibition aout once every 6 weeks. Very good, food, very good beer, Awesome team - everyone nice and welcoming. They have fun with the prohibition history with art and memorabilia. They have some TVs for sports. Out favorite spot is out back, all shaded. (hint - when you pull in - drive around to the back of the building - there's a gated parking lot - pull in gathered and walk in the back entrance. Dog friendly on the big patio.

Over priced for the location / service / cleanliness of the brewery. Also their famous burger lacked flavor . I say this to warn management of the low standard experience. Also the carne adsada fries were lacking seasoning in the meat . On top of it being low quality steak. I was very disappointed.

We love the Santa Fe burgers! The beers are great as well. Get the spicy fried green beans as a side to your burger.
