This place is not bad. I mean no one really thinks of going to Whole Foods Market for coffee, but hey if you're in the area or in the store, this is not a bad place to grab a drink. The setup is actually really nice and I liked how they had some free samples. The baristas looked a bit stressed and didn't seem to be on top of their game. I think they also work in other departments in Whole Foods, so I can understand why--maybe it's just the day I went though. Anyway, not sure if I'll be back, but I'm happy to have stopped in to check it out!

Never been to this place (yet) either, but giving you 5-star just to counteract the guy who gave you 1 just because Google Maps asked them if they had been here (sigh). I'll pay you a visit eventually and adjust if I may

Ok coffee, sporadic hours. Definitely not a reliable place to get your coffee, more of an afterthought like "wow, they actually staffed the coffee bar today, guess I'll get some." They were much better pre-COVID.

I have been grocery shopping here for years and years. Usually the service is great, but today forces me to come here to point something out. Management at this location is neglecting the hiring process of Whole Foods. I've now had several interactions with employees where I was talked down to, ridiculed, and ignored. My interaction today with Elanore in the sandwich area was enough. Elanore was aggressive, rude, and confrontational. There is NO PLACE for people like this at a Whole Foods. This is part of a larger issue with the location, where friends and family notice it as well. There is a reason we pay extra to shop at Whole Foods: better quality food, better atmosphere, and better quality PEOPLE! Someone please talk to the fire cannon Elanore.

Since I'm New to the Walnut Creek Area I Noticed that there's quite a few Whole Foods in the Area. I GPS the closest one. It between this and another one. Went to this one and it was actually pretty nice. All employees that I asked for help on finding certain items were very helpful and determined to help you find all what you're looking for. Even when you have that look where you're lost or looking for something they come up to you asking if you need help & that really helped a lot. Tried to hurry up and get out of there so I won't have to wear this Mask for Covid19 but other than that. Store and it's employees are amazing!

My review is based on the experience I had recently with App based ordering, interaction with the order fulfillment person and delivery. I'd been having difficulty trying to place grocery orders through most stores sine COVID 19 surfaced, which is not really surprising. I had heard Whole Foods (WF) was releasing delivery times as they became available, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Friday night I loaded my cart up via the Amazon app and just kept making attempts to check out a couple times an hour to secure a delivery time. Well it worked! About two hours later I was offered a time the next day between 7-9pm, which was awesome! I completed checkout and kept fingers crossed it wouldn't be canceled or contain hardly anything, like my experience with other stores. Come around 4:30 the next day, I received a text from my order fulfillment person that my order was being started. Tip: provide your cell phone number so you can receive texts! Each time there was no availability for an item, he/she would text me with an alternative option. There was an option to accept or decline the substitution. I received about 8 texts or so, and the substitutions were equal IMO in all but one (which was a unique soup type they'd run out of). This process was SO easy!!! About 6:30 I received another text that my order was heading out soon for delivery. They delivered on time within the window! I got a text when they were done putting everything on the porch and had left. Their contactless delivery complete! I really wish I would've thought about taking pictures!!! There were seven paper bags, tops folded and sealed and labeled "1 of 7"... and so forth. Everything was organized and protected beautifully! I am just SO impressed by this service, this location, my order fulfillment person, the delivery driver, etc. They did a phenomenal job and exceeded my expectations! Well done! I'm posting a pick of tI'll post more pictures of my delivery next time. I am certain there will be a next time! Thanks Whole Foods Walnut Creek! 2nd time around I snapped a pic of the porch delivery. It was raining, so I commend him for getting all the bags placed snuggly by the door, and kindly leaving me space to step out. I ordered some vodka...heads up they need to take a pic of your drivers license, so have it ready upon delivery. Well done again Whole Foods!

Since the outbreak of Covid-19 this Whole Foods location has done a good job swiftly adjusting to the new "normal" with all the restrictions put in place. More importantly they have managed their inventory well. I often go shopping later in the evening due to my work schedule and the produce, meat, seafood and dried goods sections appear to be stocked well enough considering the current situation.

If I could give 0 starts I would 1 star is just to high. I just left whole foods and the experience I just had it was not pleasant... it's partially my fault because I forgot to wear a facemask due to Covid. I was attempting to walk in that's when John the rude security guard told me I needed a cask mask to walk in, I politely told him I didn't have one, I saw an essential worker asked if she had an extra on she told me no, I then got creative and grabbed a produce bad and was walking in, John the security was literally right on my a** and I explained to him this is all I have I'm just here to pick up a pizza I ordered on the phone I don't want any trouble, he then shouted "get back" and saying things like "don't f*** with me " honestly it was damaging to me infront of people like he was dominating his spot as the guard dog for wholefoods. I felt disrespected and humiliated that he did that to me....all I wanted to to get my pizza. He treated me like a criminal, another thing I saw two people that walked out the store with no face mask... now I think he did this because I was black....he saw my black skin and I guess that triggered him, please observe him management he does this to black people.Wholefoods let's put an end to hiring racists people like John the stupid security dog.

I am 60 +with an underlying health condition. It is dangerous for me to shop in a grocery store at any hour. Currently, the Whole Food stores in Walnut Creek are not adequate to deliver online orders; nor do they allow curb side pick up. 60+ customers are allowed to shop very early 8-9am (is the store even stocked by that time?). It is disappointing WF has not focused more on customer service.

Never been to this place, but Google maps is very intrusive, assuming Ive been because it tracks my every step, and for that reason alone you get one star. Blame Google

Seems like a very small hot food section compared to most which is disappointing but its not too busy with lots of seating outdoors bathrooms could use a bit if love though

I just moved to Walnut Creek from Livermore and was excited to try this Whole Foods! The apples I got where rotten, I literally don't think in all my 24 years of life I've ever bitten into a rotten apple until I went to this Whole Foods. Also the garlic I got was rotten too. 10/10 would not recommend this place to anybody.

Don't order custom cakes from here, you will just be disappointed! You are better off getting one of their premade cakes. I ordered a custom naked Tiramisu cake for my birthday and it looked awful! It's supposed to be a naked cake, but it looked like the icing was just scraped off on one side. I thought that since it is Whole Foods, they would have a higher standard. It seemed like the baker lacked experience. I even sent a photo of a naked cake to the baker. Really disappointed, not only did it look bad, it was also too sweet! I also ordered chicken wings online for catering about 5 days prior. Pick up was supposed to be at 1pm. I decided to call at 12:30pm before I went there, apparently they were not done yet. It actually sounded like they were surprised that they had an order! They said, it will be ready about 1:30pm. Then I got there, they only had 1 order. They instead gave me 2 organic rotisserie chicken to replace the other chicken wings order. Really disappointing! Pizza was the only order that went well! I'm glad I did not order my salad and appetizers too, or I probably would not have much to feed my guests!

I am enjoying a beautiful evening at Whole Foods. The people at this location are a little quiet. They aren't as fun as at other Whole Food locations. But I am still enjoying myself here. I like to come here because even when it's busy here I still can get in and out easily.

Tired of going out to restaurants so we decided to go to whole foods and check out their buffet on our trip down from Washington. They're buffets are always amazing. My wife got a curry dinner and I got a chicken breast with two side salads. they advertise my dinner was $10 but I end up paying $12 not sure how that happened oh well maybe they're going to donate to some of the drug addicted mentally unstable people stumbling around the city streets here. ( normally called homeless people)
