“Solid place for a bite near Pleasant Hill BART station. I visited earlier this afternoon just before they closed at 3. Today was one of those back-to-back meeting days, and I had to work through lunch, so I was very hungry. I needed a bite before meeting colleagues for drinks and appetizers later in the afternoon. I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad ($10). Service was friendly and prompt - I appreciate that they pulled out a fresh salad bag for me even though it was just minutes before they closed. I took the salad to go, and enjoyed it to the last delicious morsel. Will be back!“
“I've loved this deli and the other one near My. Diablo Blvd for years. No one, no way, no how has proven they can manage a long standing deli as long, with the best quality/tasting products. Not only that, but the hot food is the bomb (my favorite is still the zucchini and artichoke torte!!)“
“I happened to run across this little deli yesterday (ground floor of an office building) while visiting with a client in the building in the morning. Saw that the deli had a Korean Bulgogi sandwich, and wanted to try it. Went back there during lunch, and the sandwich did not disappoint! Reminded me of the same sandwich from a small deli called Espresso Experience in Berkeley (which closed years ago), but just with leafy lettuce rather than shredded lettuce ... no matter ... was still great and I'll be going back again. Now I can get this sandwich to feed the beast again!“
“They make good sandwiches!Good meats and cheeses.Good proportioned sandwich.Great bread!Good toppings. They put too much spreads. I have to always say “light” mustard, light cranberry etc..They are fairly busy. I think they get a fair number of takeout orders. They need another worker!!Customer service is very important! The cashier has to not touch the cash register then touch food!!!Sanitation has to be the most important thing!Thank youYou are appreciatedKeep up the good work.“
“i first discovered Genova in Napa. Since then I've visited their other locations in Concord and Walnut Creek. They have always made our sandwiches very well, everything seem fresh from the bread, toppings and meats. I've also tried their frozen lasagna and their hot items. Their ribs are my husband's favorite. Desserts are also very good. So I guess I'm saying you can't go wrong no matter what you have. One of the best deli I've been to.“
“My daughter and I came here today for lunch to go. It was our first visit and the customer service was excellent and friendly. We brought our sandwiches home and they are amazing. Super fresh and huge (lunch and dinner) definitely a great new find“
“In a world of supermarkets, I love a corner neighborhood market. Great selection of snacks, drinks, candy, and grocery items. Went for the cheessteaks . Have to say, for the little corner shop, they were pretty good! They make them fresh, call ahead if you don't want to wait.“
“Very good place to eat, very tasty food and full of flavor. Amazing Owners and very courteous staff. Been coming here for about 7 years now on and off, and what else can i say? except, come try the food. Thank you for making very delicious food.RespectfullyDenis Ramirez“
“Yes sir, still good. The order taking was friendly and efficient. The young ladies in front were not too friendly though (like they are doing you a favor in ringing you up would go 5stars for the food and price, but now will need to think twice about the lack of friendly cashier service. Really hate to do that because if they just smiled or seemed thankful for your business I would rate them 5 stars like I did before. However, it's a good deal for sandwiches.“
