Been coming here for a while and it's still the best sandwiches I've ever had! It took a while to make but worth it, friendly staff, and even if you don't finish it's still good if you reheat (in my opinion). 10/10 recommend and I think the hunter pence is the best.

Super good sandwiches and a ton of options on the menu but it always blows me away how many classic sandwiches they don't have listed on the menu like a chicken bacon ranch (especially when the halal chicken is clearly the best thing on the menu). The halal chicken options they do have are dumb... for instance the "we're just friends" with orange glaze... terrible or the backstabber with artichokes... wtf?! Give us a chicken bacon avocado, a chicken bacon ranch, a chicken pepper jack and peppers... etc. I understand they do have a chicken bacon ranch cheddar (#7) but it's not listed on the menu in Walnut Creek for some crazy reason! Also, with something like 900 sandwiches, why not have a searchable menu where I can filter by halal chicken or pastrami or whatever... In any case, I love this place. I Just have these ideas burning through my skull.
I placed an order online and it was super convenient to pick up. I got Chipper's Fave. The sandwich was saucy and flavorful. There was a generous amount of tuna everything was amazing on their soft and slightly sweet dutch crunch bread.

$25.07 for a sandwich combo with chips and a drink? Seriously?!?! My son ordered the following -French roll with bacon, ham, avocado, cheddar cheese, with chips and a cherry Pepsi drink. The chips and drink are $4 as the combo. $21.07 for just that sandwich? That's not ok!!When I called them to ask for clarification, the store manager told me that if I order a custom sandwich like that, it's $11 for the french roll. ELEVEN DOLLARS for a roll of bread, + $2 (Avocado) + $2(Ham) + $2.50 (Bacon) + $1.50 (Cheese). This is an absolute rip off! I hope Ike's can fix this and make things right. When I explained why this seemed ridiculous to the manager and gave her a chance to make it right before I wrote a bad reivew, her response was that I should go ahead and write the review and there was nothing she could do. But that she understood why my explanation makes sense and that it should NOT cost as much, just that it's how their system is built.Never going back! Ike's, you lost a regular customer today.

Don't have a single complaint! The staff is friendly and inviting. Restaurant was clean and well organized. I got a Menage a tríos my last visit and let me tell you I was not disappointed. Highly recommend Ike's Walnut Creek!
