This place has the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Even though I have to drive an hour to get some, it’s still worth it!

We love the ice cream. So delicious and home-made. But every time we’ve come here (5th time this month) they are minimally staffed (1 or 2 people in the entire store) resulting in very long lines and wait. On a warm Friday night, they only have one person who’s scooping and serving as the cashier. The owner needs to hire more people. Expect a wait of 30 to 40 minutes! Ice cream is delicious, but it’s trying our patience. We’ll tip the poor server well, but I’m sure he’s not happy either.

Lots of interesting and tempting flavors! I got the honeycomb, and the mango kumquat. There's a small size that lets you get two flavors, I think the mini double? It was the perfect size. Will be back!

Almost Toffee, DARKEST (vegan) chocolate, and Ethiopian coffee were the heaviest of flavor hitters for this round of ice cream in Walnut Creek! Solid service where they were able to offer some solid samples, even offering both dark and darkest chocolate for contrast in flavors! Music taste was impeccable as well!!

this place gave me flashbacks when i used to work in an ice cream shop (in a good way). i honestly never heard of this place until a friend recommended it! line wasn't too bad when we arrived but holy shi- the line got so unexpectedly long after 5 min. there was only one guy working the front so of course i cut him some slack because I GET IT LOL as of 3/31 the flavors of the day were a tough one to choose from, i was debating between the mocha almond fudge or the vanilla salted almond toffee, so i settled for the vanilla salted almond toffee. i wanted a waffle cone but unfortunately they sold out, but a sugar cone did it just right. the prices had me a little shook because i thought $6.5 for one scoop was wild but tbh everything is expensive now ;~; honestly i get the hype of this place and why the line is out the door. amazing flavor and stretchiness in the ice cream texture, i scarfed this down in like 5 minutes. the shop is really small and seems to get overcrowded very easily but luckily it's a grab & go concept. props to the guy scooping ice cream and being cashier.

This is definitely a local gem. I came across this after doing some shopping and grabbing some dinner but was craving a dessert. Even pretty late into the evening there was a wait, all the way outside the door. There isn't much seating inside but everyone still comes to grab a scoop even standing outside in the cold to finish it. You can taste the freshness and the flavors. I'm so glad I came across this and will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.

Their Rocky road quite literally knocked the socks off my icecream snob husband. He looks for a reason to head to Walnut Creek to load up on it! Their seasonal fruit flavors (featuring Frog Hollow Farm fruits) are the BOMB

Reliable, great flavors, good quality. Been here a couple times and all flavors have been tasty. Though I do admit it can easily be a bit pricey for what it is, but I cant say what's normal for ice cream parlors these days. $8 for a single scoop on waffle cone I guess is just the sign of the times were in. A couple nit picks if I had to: the ice cream isn't as frozen as I'd prefer, though its soft and therefore easy to eat, it tends to melt quickly. And the waffle cones, although very tasty, can be very brittle and crumble away when you don't want it to.

Currently at Lottie's and we are all so amazed - a one man show with so much patience. The same person taking orders and is the cashier. Not getting overwhelmed or showing frustration towards customers. Instead is doing their job with grace. I think their name is Nate - give them a raise!

Awesome creamery! Best part, they are not a chemistry lab, they have chefs preparing ice cream from organic material.

I love the ice cream and service here so much. Only thing I'm sad about is the first time I came here they had an orange and chocolate flavor that was AMAZING. It's been two years and I haven't seen it come back since.

My favorite dessert in the entire world. This always puts me in the best mood and I crave it all the time. They have the most fun and unique flavors, the espresso they use for the affogato is sooo goooddd!! 10/10 love lotties
