Hi Ross - my name is Ryan Waters and I was just in as we booked a table for four at 5pm this evening. We requested a booth with our reservation and your hostess (the one with the nose ring) was going to sit us in a very small four top table. I'm 6'5 and the table she selected was exceedingly small and i simply would have been uncomfortable at such a small table (wedged in the very back against a partition). I kindly requested one of the many booths that were open and I was told they were reserved for parties of six. The only problem with that is there were parties of four sitting in the other booths and the available booths were setup for parties of four. Your hostess couldn't have been less accommodating if she tried so we politely told her we would leave. It's unfortunate because we've never dined with you and we will not be coming back.

When visiting this fine Italian restaurant, be sure to order the Sunday gravy. It's basically every type of meat poured over by a delicious Italian red sauce, and then placed on top of a pile of spaghetti. The drinks were also prepared very well. The line is long so call ahead and make a reservation.

One time dining in and the other was take-out. So far I've tried the crispy polenta, Melo's chopped salad, the mortadella pizza, fennel sausage sugo and the pasta alla norcina. Everything tastes fresh and comes out fast. Service is friendly and the decor is lovely inside. I loved their lemon and orange candies on the way out the door too.

Melo's Italian Table is the perfect date night :) not only is the food amazing but so is the ambiance/decor. My first time here I ordered the chicken parm & it was one of the best I ever had! We also ordered The Luca which was also really good especially with the hot honey! I've also had the hot Hawaiian which was also good. Make sure to get the parm fries & you won't be disappointed. I would recommend making a reservation especially on the weekends as they tend to get super busy.

This was my first time trying out this restaurant and the food was delicious! I knew it was going to be good since I already love Melo's in concord. This one is a little more upscale and have a wider drink selection which I love my son got the pizza and I got their Cesar salad with with square pie pizza ! Everything was great! Definitely coming again maybe with my friends next time!

Went here with my fiancé , his mom and sister for dinner on a Friday night, no reservation but they still seated us in a reasonable amount of time.(20 mins. We got a few appetizers and all of them came out quick and were super tasty and filling. The customer service was great and our server was very attentive. The portions are very large so order with caution. Overall very enjoyable I will definitely be back.

We were seated in an area with an early 5:30 reservation. A very tight table for two . We were ignored for over 10 minutes until I asked if we have a server. The worst part was the setting sun hitting my date in his eyes with sun every time the door to the patio was opened, which was frequently on a Saturday night. There were several empty tables but we were not allowed to change places when we asked. Our food was delicious and waiter was great. It was not a great experience due to the table location. The manager apologized at the end of our meal acknowledging the problem in those indoor locations with the setting sun issue that they plan to address.

Good food, great service! I've taking a few clients here from time to time. In a great location still love taking clients here!

My partner and I love Melo's! We both love to get the spicy vodka rigatoni, as well as a garlic bread to share. The rigatoni is cooked perfectly and the sauce coats the pasta so well. The garlic bread is delicious and the cheese on top is a really nice touch. The vibes are always great and the service is good. It does get a bit busy during dinner time especially on the weekends, so the staff might be more difficult to flag down when you need something, but it's not anything that's atypical of a popular restaurant. Melo's will be our go-to for a while if we want some good Italian food!

We went to Melo's for a family dinner on a Saturday night. We initially made a reservation for six people on their outdoor patio, but when we arrived it was quite windy and they were able to adjust and seat us indoors. The vibe was interesting, I would say somewhere in between a fast food restaurant and a chain restaurant. They have diner style booth seating with mid-century modern décor. We started off with cocktails and ordered some apps to share - Parm Fries and Steamed Mussels & Clams which came with my favorite bread from Acme Bread Company. I ordered a Salsicia Pizza and hubs tried the Fettuccia Con Pollo. I thought the food was ok, definitely got the job done, but nothing particularly special IMO.

4.7/5! I've had this spot 5 times now and I am utterly impressed by the consistent quality and deliciousness. Melo's takes a more modern take on American Italian. Very convenient to have your order delivered from here as well. The square pie Luca is to die for. This is my favorite restaurant in downtown Walnut Creek (and that says a lot because I've tried almost every single one!)

Just had dinner here tonight. Sat at the bar. It’s a little tight for seating and the bar is disappointingly small. But that’s just our opinion because we love to sit at the bar. We ordered the Caesar salad which the bar tender asked if we would like to have split. Why of course we would. Thank you very much! Well as you can see in the photo, it was a very generous portion, but really good! Lots of grated parm and lovely crumbly bread crumbs on top, which in my book were much more enjoyable than the usual store bought croutons that I never eat. The pizza, Salsiccia was really delicious with beautifully stringy cheese and amazing crust. We were very pleased and will be back.

The ambience is energetic and fun. This was our 4th visit and the service was friendly and efficient. Only a 10 min wait for a table on a busy, rainy Friday evening. The meal is hearty and the unique pizza options are delicious.

Melo's was such a great find. I don't typically get excited about Italian food because so many Italian restaurants are mediocre and not authentic, but I will come back to Melo's for my next Italian craving, that is for sure. The food is done so well and it's damn good. The ambiance is vibrant and lively, great for a date night Service was friendly and efficient, thank you!! Drink menu looked good. I love a good Chianti, but decided to try their Italian white, really nice and light and crisp. I don't see Italian whites on menus that often, next time I'll get the bottle, so delightful. Gem Caesar: a little heavy handed with the dressing, but it still didn't overpower. I appreciated that it was dressed throughout each leaf and not just loaded on top. Loved all the thin curly ribbons of parm and bread crumbs vs croutons, brilliant use of texture, loved that. It's these small details that makes me appreciate how chefs think about food. We came for the pasta, and decided to splurge by trying out a pizza as an appetizer, lol We tried out The Luca based on reviews. Holy cow, so tasty! Great alternative to Tony's, it was that good. It's a square pan crust pizza, the edges were crisp and salty from the melted moz, the peps were curled and salty crisp bites, dat burrata doe, and the final touch of the hot honey drizzle! So well balanced and just delicious. This one is a must try. We had recently gone to Original Joes in the city, so hubby was craving some spicy rigatoni, that's how I found Melo's. It was yummy and fulfilled the craving, he ordered with meatballs. With each bite, you just wanted more and more. I tried the Pasta Alla Norcina. Truffle cream sauce, fennel sausage, mushrooms, rosemary, mic drop. Simple and flavorful, it was just divine. We don't typically order desserts either, but their dessert menu was so fun. With that said, we settled on a simple affogato, which uses their soft serve. It's so simple but how is this so good?? And the perfect amount, it was a great end to our meal. With as much food (and carbs) that we ordered, I didn't feel grossly bloated or that my buttons would pop off afterwards. We obviously brought food home, and I left feeling so elated about what a wonderful dining experience that was. Check it out for your next date night.

One of our guests was celebrating her birthday. It was such a pleasant surprise to find a birthday card from the restaurant on our table. The food was enjoyed by all five of us. It was hrs to choose from the variety.
