It's one of our favorite places in our neighborhood ! The gentleman who cooks is pleasant and makes great food ! The servers/host are also very nice and helpful. Thank you very much !

The lighting and ambiance and food are nice enough, but the people they put in the customer facing roles are questionable. I came in for a to go order. It was admittedly large, and I asked the contact lady up front how long she thought my order would take, she said, and I quote "What you want me to do." Not the question, but ok.

Something horrible has happened to Nama. Nama used to be my sushi spot for years. It offered quick service and fresh sushi, and the JD and Tammie rolls were my go-to. I went there last night. Oh my god, I don't know what happened. First, they were busy. I could see a decent number of people there and several door-dash orders, so I knew I was going to wait a bit. I wasn't greeted at the door for about 3-4 minutes, didn't get our menus for about 5 minutes, and waited 10 minutes for the waitress to take our order. Okay, again, they're busy. I ordered toro nigiri and a JD roll. This took over an hour to get to us. After getting an appetizer fairly quickly and waiting for the rolls for over 30 minutes, my dad asked what's up with our order. The waitress was almost aggressive in telling my dad there was a waiting list and was waving her hands in front of my dad's face. I kid you not. It's one thing to wait, and I get it. I also got it was busy, and here's yet another person asking where is my food. You can quickly tell your customers this without being aggressive. My dad asked again 20 minutes later, and the same happened. I was starting to get pissed at how he was being treated. When I finally got my rolls, I was floored. The JD roll was okay. The toro nigiri was AWFUL. Toro is supposed to be pink; this was straight-up gray. It was cut against the grain, so it had tons of sinew and actual pieces of bone. I kid you not. We got a refund on the toro, but I will never return here again. I'm so disappointed.

Ever since the owner left, the service has gone down hill!! Went during a slow time, only 4 tables occupied and service was horrible. Had to ask for utensils, plates, and order was taken wrong. Other tables were doing the same. This is very upsetting because I have been coming here for over 10 years.
Food is probably good but don't listen to them when they say 15min it's actually 45min ??

Used to come to this location 6 years ago. It was amazing back then . I don't know if it's new Owners or a post Covid thing but I was a bit disappointed to how I remembered it. The tnt roll was tiny and the sashimi was very inconsistently cut and the Hamachi was kind off slimy . I remember this place being packed with people but was one of the only ones at the restaurant and it was over 80 degrees inside . Staff was friendly and I wish I could give a better review but sad to say I won't be back again.
