My daughter gave my hubby a gift card from this restaurant for part of his birthday present. So we had lunch here on a Sat. We ordered two lunch specials: shrimp bento box and salmon bento box and for appetizer the cripsy tofu. Salmon bento box was okay. Salmon was a little dry, thank goodness for the sauce. Unfortunately the edamame didn't have much flavor. Miso soup was good but you can't really mess that up. Shriimp tempura bento box was good and my hubby finished it all so that must say something. He told me he gives it a 5 Crispy tofu had crispy skin and the inside was really soft. I guess I was anticipating it to be more crispy. Service was fantastic. It was not crowded so we received our food fairly quickly. I also noticed there were alot of take out orders. There are metered parking spots in the strip mall. Or you can park at Broadway Plaza for 3 hours of free parking and walk a few blocks to the restaurant - do some window shopping of the area,

Just picked up a takeout order, a chirashi bowl, and extremely disappointed with the portion and quality of this food. We've ordered from here before and have been pleased but this was so disappointing. Never ordering from here again. Portion was half the size of just a couple of months ago, but the same price. There was hardly any fish. No salmon. Really poor cuts of fish. Even the ginger tastes bad! How do you mess that up?

Ordered food from here for delivery. I ate most of the food when I realized my Nigiri had been contaminated with flies. Had an awful stomach ache. Safe to say I'm never ordering anything from here again.

I made an online order, and when picking it up noticed they had forgotten an extra side. The staff fixed the issue right away and were very accommodating and kind. They even offered me hot tea while I waited. The Kaiser and Dynamite roll were delicious!

We tried here 2x and the first was okay and so we decided to try takeout. The tuna roll was okay but the sashimi smells really bad. Like it had been sitting in the sun you could smell it, we can't blame deliver because we picked it up ourselves and went straight home no stops. We called immediately and told them but we couldn't go back to another replacement-20 minute drive and an early flight. But when we are back we will go back to our usual spot. Sorry 2 stars 3/4 of the food was bad

This is not a 5 star Japanese Sushi bar. Firstly they don't actually serve sushi, just sashimi and rolls and cooked items. Secondly all the fish is somewhat soggy and separated. This indicated to me long freezing periods. The working staff were pleasant enough, but I won't be returning for more mediocre faire.
