SANDWICH BAR ONLY...talk about dysfunctional. First off it typically takes 10-15 minutes before anyone to recognize when you're waiting there. Then like the post below the same woman along with another only complain about their co-workers and how their going to lose it since they are so over worked and the post below isn't lying...It's every single time. Now walking in on a sunday the sandwich bar is closed of all days because shocker...she's overworked and short staffed and she has to do inventory. I've literally never had a easy and smooth trip to that sandwich bar. Can I grab a burrito without hearing about how bad the coworkers and company is.

Literally went to the Starbucks to get a cup of ice and the barista was rude and said "I can't do that" ITS A CUP OF ICE!!!

Service at the deli counter is terrible. Takes forever to get help and they don't keep things stocked very well.

The store is beautiful but they are always Out of stock on things, cashiers are nice but the deli is a mess - trying to get a sandwich is a disaster - lady spends the entire time complaining how she is "overworked" and I mean EVERY TIME- the customer service lady is lazy and NOT helpful ..sad as this could be a great shopping experience as it's such a nice store. Last week the store got robbed and it was "just like a normal day" no store personnel even flinched. So odd shopping here - I now Just go to Whole Foods

I was excited to check this newer store out today. Unfortunately the customer service was terrible which pretty much ruined my experience at this store. The cashier was Deepak, this guy didn't look my direction or acknowledged my presence in any form. He rang up my moms items, then mine... he didn't tell us how much the total was or anything, didn't look our way. Nothing. I kind of brushed it off my shoulder until the next couple customers turn came (white ladles). I was getting ready to walk off when I noticed he stood up from where he was sitting and greeted them warmly, even asked how their day had been. Definitely made me feel a certain way. Im calling the store tomorrow.

It's a very nice store seems pretty organized for the most part. Has a pretty good organic section could improve by having more options and having more items in stock. I'm a frequent Safeway shopper so I do come here and other Safeways a lot during the week.For the most part the people are friendly and helpful when trying to look for items. Parking is always very convenient to large parking spot so I never have issues funding parking at least.

Usually love shopping here, but my experience with the Starbucks barista this morning was very disappointing. She was extremely rude when I tried to confirm that they were out of vanilla syrup. I, too, am in a customer service role and would never speak to a customer in that manner. Although it's the most convenient Starbucks for me, I will never order there again :(

Their Safeway Select Hot Breakfast sausage (fat roll) tastes great- and it's always in the case- and it's *always* past expiration, anywhere from a couple of days to a full month. Prices are much higher than Trader Joe's (around the corner).

Love this store! However, if you get in the checkout lane that Budd is working, I would move. He'd rather watch the clock than make conversation, didn't even look up at me to say hello. Poor customer service, he must've missed that training day.

Giving this store 1 star just because the deli is AWFUL. 4 people behind d the counter and no other customers waiting and all of them completely ignored the fact I was waiting. Regular occurrence. When you do get served, you often get something different from what you ask for. Horrible service.

Safeway is a reliable and community grocery store that I frequently regularly shop at. The store is wide selection of produce ensures that I can find everything I need in one place for fresh produce to pantry Staples and household items. I appreciate the convenience of having a safe way near by making it easy to shop for groceries without traveling far.I particularly enjoy the various promotions and discounts that offered at Safeway which helps me save money on my groceries purchases the loyalty program a weekly specials are great incentives that keep coming back.Occasionally I've noticed some inconsistent product availability especially in doing peak hours additionally I wouldn't appreciate more variety in their organic and specialty product offering to cater to broad range of preferences and dietary needs.Overall Safeway earns four stars from me for its conveniency promotions and overall shopping experience with a few minor improvements it could easily become top-notch grocery.

I used to love this Safeway and now it's terrible. The customer service is horrible!!! The night manager Sal is rude and totally unprofessional. I had an over $400 bill and about $100 of things rang up wrong. My wife tried to get the bill corrected and was told they were too busy to help her with the refund or rewringing my bill. At 10 o'clock at night... After my wife just had chemo btw...He talked down to my wife and as she walked away he was laughing and mocking her to another employee. When I went to talk to him it was the same story...he didn't have time but he was just hanging out talking to some girls and not working. So too busy to not help a disabled customer???. I think false advertising is illegal last time checked...oh well I'll be calling corporate on Monday. My wife's family has worked for Safeway for years. Her grandma was the manager at the N.Broadway store. My how times have changed! Totally ruined our night! I will not be using the app anymore since it's such an issue. So clippings coupons and holding up the line is the way to go! Actually this experience has really soured us and we will be shopping elsewhere as much as possible.

AVOID! I thought the one on Bancroft was bad - this store is horrible! ..not enough employees and the ones there have attitudes the size of Texas... not enough parking (they take way too many parking spots ffor shopping carts - how does this even pass building code?) ... When the one in Encina was there you could get friendly help .... boy, I miss Raleys. I'll go to Whole Paycheck before going to that mess of a place again. The Safeway at YVR & Kirker Pass is the best! ... oh did I say AVOID!
