I give 3 * for service becauseI feel cheated when I look through the receipt after I left the place and see that they charged us for two bottles of 16 oz beers instead of one 16 oz and one 8 oz beer. And it’s not about the price, it’s about I trusted and then realized I shouldn’t have. It’s your job guys to be attentive when serving and checking out.The waiter threw spoons right on the table ( not sure it’s clean enough for that)They don’t know their menu ( we asked if there are any baked rolls in the big set, they said no, and as a result we ordered more than we really needed)We had a big set and a number of different sashimis. Everything was mixed up and we had a challenge guessing which is what.No vasabi, ginger or soya sauce in take away.In other words we’re not excited about the place . Of course it could be worse but I prefer to compare with better experience.Kid-friendliness: No kid friendliness. No kids menu, didn’t even offer sticks holder for kids.
It was my first time in this place and I definitely will come back. The place is pretty nice, the people are friendly and foot was really good.

It’s a contemporary Japanese restaurant with an extensive menu. Decor is bright and cheery. Bonus points for big screens showing a winning Warriors game on the night we dined there! ? Personally I had the cheesy katsu on a sizzling hot plate which was quite a sight and tastes pretty good. My party had sushi and ramen which are ok but the broth is not complex flavor-wise. The draft beer in frosted mugs is refreshing and goes very well with the katsu. Service is friendly and lots of drink options from sake to soju to ramunes. Definitely something for everyone.Vegetarian options: There are options even for plant-based diets.Parking: Saw a couple of pay-per-use EV charging spots in the parking lot too. Probably J1772s.Kid-friendliness: Good menu options for kids and they provide little chopstick training widgets for a fun experience

We love to go there! We live in Walnut Creek and it's nice to have great sushi restaurant 5 minutes away. Great place nice people good sushi! Love this place here

This is my friend's and family's go-to spot for Birthdays and great quality sushi! The portions are plenty, the service is exceptional, and the restaurant is always lively. When they have fresh tuna, they display the head on top of ice in the front entryway (cool, right?). I specifically come here for the chicken katsu and the toro nigiri. The uni shooters are so aesthetic, if you like uni I'd recommend to try for the experience. They do reservations a day in advance, and get pretty busy so come early if you can't get a reservation.

Didn't get to snap a photo of my sushi but hamachi sashimi was really great, the quality was amazing. Kids had great time with service and ambiance and they loved the apps and the main dish chicken Katsu! Will definitely be a regular spot for sushi
