Today is May 8. Stopped in for breakfast and the place is locked up tight. Tried to call no one answered.

My go-to matcha latte spot! My boyfriend introduced me to this place and I always find a reason to come here to satisfy my matcha craving. I don't typically get matcha lattes but their strawberry lychee matcha latte always hits the spot. I've tried a variety of their mochi donuts and muffins and they're pretty tasty. I like how they have a variety of Asian flavors like ube, Thai tea, and matcha. I always recommend this place to my friends when they're in the area, and so far, they've all enjoyed it. The employees are all super nice and consistently make great lattes. The place itself is small, with a few tables inside and outside the shop. The parking situation is not bad considering it's located in downtown Walnut Creek. It has its own small lot and is connected to a plaza with more parking. If it gets crowded, you can park at the park garage less than a block away that offers free parking for the first 3 hours. Will continue to come back and recommend this gem!

I went to Third Culture for a little treat. I got the iced strawberry lychee matcha. The drink itself was okay! Not sure if it was worth $6 and some change. I was intrigued by the kimchi cheese waffle. The lady who took my order said it was good. I love kimchi and waffles so I thought why not? I absolutely should not have gotten it! It was soggy, cold, and the flavor combination was wayyyy off. I had to throw it out after 3 bites! I got really, really disgusted eating it. I spent a whopping $18 at Third Culture and really did not feel like any of it was worth it! The mochi donuts here are good, but other than getting those I'm not sure why I'd go to Third Culture. Would probably not return.

I am a huuuuge fan of Third Culture for their delicious mochi baked goods and yummy matcha drinks! I came by on a Sunday around 2pm to pick up a dozen mochi donuts for my sister's birthday dinner. I didn't order ahead or anything, but they still had all flavors available for purchase, even though they were about to close in a couple of hours. We ended up with Vietnamese Coffee, Thai Tea, Buko Pandan, Guava Cheesecake, Ube Coconut, Strawberry Cream, and Tiramisu. For drinks, I grabbed the Lychee Matcha Sparkler (my usual) and the Salted Maple Cold Brew Latte for my husband. Both were as delicious as the last time we got them. Consistency my friends! Third Culture is a great place for a caffeine pick-me-up or a "I'm gonna treat myself with something sweet" moment. They're space is pretty small with one table inside, and a few tables and chairs outside for seating. However, the disco ball themed aesthetic is just so unique and very picture worthy! There's super cute merch to the left of the service counter, with totes, teas, and matcha for purchase. Also, the customer service is always pretty quick, pleasant, and consistent as well. Definitely come to Third Culture for your next Matcha fix or sweet treat!

So thrilled to have discovered a Third Culture in WC! I mean it's only been there for three years now lol, but I'm rarely in the area. As I scrolled looking for cafes, I was pleasantly surprised that I could pop in for mochi donuts and one of their drinks. Of course, loaded up on the passion fruit, strawberry, and Vietnamese coffee mochi donuts. It's always a head spinning decision with all the varieties! The brownie mochi muffin is always a fave too. Grabbed the seasonal Speculoos Toffee mochi muffin and a carrot cake muffin too since it's limited time. Also couldn't pass up the banana espresso mochi waffle which is always a winner. I usually get a hojicha latte, but they had a Rich and Roasty which is a roasted matcha. It was perfect with the whipped espresso cream. This one is also a limited time drink through April. It's off a main street, but sort of hidden. You may also pass the building depending on which direction you're coming from. Otherwise, you will see the iridescent Third Culture Bakery sign on the windows. I usually go to the Berkeley showroom to get my fix, but happy to know this location exists!!

Quick and easy service/options! They have match, coffee and no caffeine options and that's enough to choose from! Next time I'm going to try their match items.., I just really needed coffee today! They also had a lot of unusual mochi donut, mochi muffins, bread pudding and waffles too! I gotta take the kids there next time, this time was a quick stop by after yoga so it was just me. I've heard about third culture before but I'm glad I was able to give it a try today. Will be back soon!

Adequate parking, small bakery with some indoor seating and outdoor seating. Food: iced strawberry lychee matcha (4/5): nice matcha flavor. strawberry lychee was refreshing. wish there was a little more of the lychee though! iced caramel matcha: my sister got this!! she liked it red velvet mochi cake (5/5): seasonal item, great flavor and nice crisp from the muffin edges!! get this!! banana bread pudding (5/5): staff was nice enough to warm it up for us. I'd get this again! very nice caramel flavor coming from the bananas and sugar!! coconut ube mochi donut (2.5/5): wouldn't get this again because the coconut Ube flavor didn't come through at all with the topping. was almost plasticky. nice mochi texture tho. Ambiance: super cute!! gave disco vibes.

Oh my gosh! I am in this area of Walnut Creek almost always but I didn't even realize this wonderful place was right there too. I found Third Culture through Yelp because I was looking for new matcha places to try. This place seemed like a hit so I decided to come today on a Tuesday afternoon! It was my first time here so I got an iced matcha latte with oat milk. I love the fact that it's already sweetened with a bit of honey. When I tell you this matcha was INCREDIBLE, it truly was. Shoutout to the person working who answered my questions! Very helpful. I also got the Mochi bread pudding (*a tip is to get it warmed). This was just the greatest dessert I've had in so long! WOW. I'm not a donut person but the options they had looked awesome. 10/10 would recommend!

I found this place on Instagram and decided to give it a try. It's in a very busy shopping center. It's right at the corner so it's easy to find. The place is small there's no seating inside so it's a grab and go. There's some coffee options and some doughnuts. They also sell some things there. The girl who helped us was really nice and patient. We bought 3 doughnuts uni , matcha, and strawberry. I didn't get coffee because I got overwhelmed by the amount of new things. The doughnuts were soft and flavorful. The best part is my teenager absolutely loved this place so we will definitely be back.
