Ok. Don't be intimidated by the line and long wait. ITS WORTH THE WAIT! The chicken is crispy and not over cooked or over seasoned. It's Juicy. Portions are GOOD! Small chickens fries are enough to share. Everything was really good.

Fire chicken!!!! The sandwich has so much flavor, the home made sauce adds that extra . They give you a reasonable amount of food. So worth the wait. I highly recommend checking them out if you haven't, you won't regret it. And to mention their pickles are delicious. Best chicken I have had

Finally got to try this place n let's say it did not disappoint. So we will start with my order the #2 so the portion sizes were great the sandwich was HUGE!! I got the medium heat level, in my opinion it had a kick but with some flavor the slaw was good. The fries were plain but had some flavor to em Mayb the oil they were cooked in. They were not crisp but still good. I was expecting them to be like Dave's Hot Chicken with Cajun seasoning but was still surprised by the good taste. Service was good once it got going. Unfortunately I showed up around 1pm n they had closed to catch up on orders so there was a line of us waiting wait was about 30min before they opened up again. But once they got going again it was good. Now they state it is not fast food n made to order so I appreciate that. The order was definitely made fresh n got it hot. Definitely recommend and will be going back to try the mega fries. I can see why this place is a gem of the 831 n has a strong following.

Best fried chicken everrrrrrrr!!!!! The workers are very kind and the chicken is bussin, they def gonna put the Popeyes around the corner out of business. Come give this place a try if you want the best fried chicken in the area.

Worth the wait. Before you order they'll give you an estimate wait which is a good thing in my opinion. If you decide to wait afterwards, it's on you for being ok with it.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We ordered from “Hot Birds” today for the first time and were met with nothing but INCREDIBLE customer service (emphasis on incredible) and AMAZING food! The rub they use is phenomenal. Juicy, tender chicken topped with a brioche bun? To die for. The side sauce is sweet, tangy, and a perfect compliment to the spice (or no spice, if you prefer). I’m a sucker for crinkle-cut fries, so 10/10 there. You can also never go wrong with coleslaw, by the way. A perfect way to start our weekend. Thank you guys; We’ll be ordering again soon!?

Hot birds is amazing! This is a pop up food truck that is now kind of permanent on the side of tractor supply in Watsonville. The wait can be pretty long sometimes so be prepared during the lunch rush. We always get the chicken fries. It's huge. Enough deliciousness for two people.
