This place has the best salt and pepper fish I've ever had! I've only ordered from here once, but I can't wait to order again and try more from their menu

Watsonville is lacking a good Chinese restaurant. Add May's to a yet another forgettable choice. Biggest turnoff was the young lady who served me. She had the demeanor of Miss Frosty she greeted me with a tart "...take out?" I told her no, dine in. Which she told me "sit"! and I asked her anywhere of which she just nodded her head. She literally tossed the menu at me, returning about 3 minutes later took my order and walked away with that annoyed look. When she returned about 10 minutes later with my order she literally plonked it on the table, sighed and walked away. The whole experience involved less than 10 words and lots of attitude. Soup and lunch entree arrived at the same time? Even though portion was decent, food mediocre, bland tasting and soup not hot plus the unpleasant service I don't believe I'll be back. Value: 3 out of 5 Atmosphere: 2 out of 5 Service: 1/2 out of 5 Bathroom: Didn't use Verdict: 2 out of 5

I wanted to like this place. New owners, very clean place, friendly service. But I judge Chinese food by what I need to do once I eat it. I'll explain, do i need to add soy sauce, is it too cold to eat, etc. The food was fresh and good quality but little flavor, it needed seasoning. The sauce was so thin for the pan-fried noodles, like water, supposed to be thick like gravy. I may try again.

We ordered the eggplant with black bean sauce, beef chow fun, and hot and sour soup. All the dishes tasted great! Definitely satisfied my comfort food craving. I would definitely come back when I’m back in the area.

Personally, I can't promise everything is perfect in May's Garden, but it is a great place to dine in. I hope this restaurant gains more customers.

$13 for a quart of pork fried rice to go, really, seriously. Went to panda express and the same quart of pork fried rice was $5.40. Won't be going back to may's Garden.

Came in for a quick bite for lunch had the kung pao shrimp lunch special the chow mein was flavorless very few veggies the kung pao shrimp was good just needed an extra kick of spice. Over all it's okay more than likely I'll just stop @ Panda Express.
