I was totally surprised at the Sushi at this desirable restaurant. The Sushi rolls were very mushy rice, not a great roll as in the past. The eggplant in the roll was hard not cooked aldente as should be. It was not easy to pull each section apart due to rice stickiness. I spent a lot of money for my to go meal. I would not eat there anymore due to downhill preparation.

Food was great but the experience was horrible. I understand that we were the last ones but we were trying to finish our drinks after spending more than $250 when the busser/cook went outside the patio (where we were at) and said we were still there.. we giggled out of nervousness knowing they were trying to leave .. it was 9:30.. and he went back in and loudly stated "they are fu**en laughing like if it was ..." so that we could hear. Like what?? Being a server myself I understand trying to go home but come on now. That is very rude. Funny thing is he told the owner that and owner did nothing. Never again would I come back or recommend for anyone to have that experience, especially when the owners themselves go where I work when we are literally about to close.

During the pandemic, we are doing mostly takeout. Given this is Watsonville, I was a little dubious about ordering Japanese food. Turns out, Miyuki rates right up there with the best non-sushi Japanese restaurants in the Bay Area. I particularly liked the beef sukiyaki ... meat was learn and flavorful, and they didn't overdue it on the salt. Large portion meant this dish was for 2 meals. The salmon teriyaki was fresh and perfectly presented, although it was a smaller serving. We would definitely go back.

The smallest rolls i have ever eaten, expensive for what I got, and not that great either. Will not be returning, the lady was nice though.

I was visiting from out of town and were not disappointed. The miso soup was excellent. In general most Japanese restaurants don't put enough tofu in their soup, not Miyuki Restaurant. There was tofu in every spoonful. This pleasantly surprised me. The Teriyaki chicken was excellent.

There teriyaki chicken is so tender and tasty, and the soup(miso) has a great flavor, not like any other I have tried,

This is a Bento Box Review! Notes: Authentic Japanese food is rare in these parts, and Miyuki's has got it! Order: 3 Item Bento w/ Shiozake Salmon, Teriyaki Chicken and Sashimi. Sashimi was fresh and yummy. Shiozake salmon was cooked well and was what I expected. Happy they could accommodate this order as it was not on the menu. Teriyaki sauce was tasty and plentiful, but just a tad sweet for me. Miso soup was delicious and much more flavorful than others I've had. Salad was a bit underwhelming, the dressing was also very sweet. Service: They were very busy, but were friendly and got our takeout order ready reasonably close to the estimated time. I will be back to try other things on this menu, especially for dinner. If you're looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant in the area, I highly recommend Miyuki's!

We normally go to sushi qu but my son decided he doesn't like their salmon rolls anymore so we decided to give this place a try again. When I walked in I immediately noticed an older fellow, I'm assuming the owner, completely maskless. Like not even hanging off his ear or around his neck. He was talking with orders of food just underneath him! Within 30 seconds I watched one of the younger sushi chefs pull his mask down to drink water and wipe away sweat while standing over the food! Mask back on with his hand and immediately back to handling food. Disgusting. I turned around and went to Imura, which is better anyway though a longer drive for us.

I always get the bento box with the fresh sashimi salmon, Gyosa and Cali roll. But the best part are the appetizers, I love love the seaweed salad, the scallop dynamite are amazing, and the Ika Geso which is squid tentacles lightly battered and fried. I recommend this place. It's always fresh and Delish!

It's more than just sushi, it is great! Some of our favorites are the Niki Roll, Scallop Dynamite, and the Tokyo Roll, but you can't go wrong here! The friendly staff provide an all-around pleasant dining experience.

The only sushi spot open in the area and I'm glad they are here. Sooo good tried their spider roll and that was perfect also their miso soup is not so salty like everywhere else. Even though I had it Togo it was worth the find! Also they have the cutest little macaroon ice cream cheesecakes I'll be back for! Yummm!!!

We had a takeout meal at our AirBNB upon a recommendation by a friend, and gobbled up the sushi and tempura easily. Fresh fresh fish, what more can you ask!
