Came to try this out with my 3 kids and it was incredible. The grilled cheese was on point, and my kids devoured it. I asked for a recommendation for a not so sweet ice i coffee and the barista told me to try a caramel ice coffee. REALLY good! Also got some chocolate cake for desert. I'll be back to try every item on the menu lol. Also, I found a new life hack (if I'm late, I'm sorry). Bringing toddlers to the mall before the stores open is not only free, but the toddlers can explore all the shops without causing a ruckus!

We ordered Cafe Valer through DoorDash tonight. We've always had good experiences with Cafe Valer, but it had been a while since we had it. Tonight, they fell short. I got jalapeño sirloin steak sandwich. Flavor was good but wayyyy too much sauce/dressing on it. It made the sandwich completely fall apart. My wife ordered the half salad/half panini combo. They served her the wrong sandwich which had chipotle sauce on it which she can't have. So basically, she lost half her meal. I would give it a 1 star for tonight's experience, but I'll give it 3 stars since our other experiences have been good.

I love this cafe!!!! Everything I've tried by far ion their menu is so good and fresh. As well as their coffee :) I recommend you try this place.

This place was surprisingly busy considering its proximity to a lot of other bigger, more popular establishments. But after tasting some of the panini's my group was pleasantly surprised. I had a chicken artichoke panini and a lavender lemonade. The panini was pretty good. The lemonade was nothing special but good.

I love this place . ESPECIALLY because they have a "fit" menu . The power protein wrap tastes amazing . I've also gotten the leaning out plate on days where I'm being a bit more mindful of my eating . It's a pretty basic plate just chicken , rice , and broccoli and even that tastes great! SERVICE: everyone is really nice . I've been there when it's super busy during lunch hours and usually you will see employees looking a little hectic and not to friendly at other places, but not here . No matter how busy they are every employee stays extremely kind and checks on all the customers .

A nice place to get a coffee fix and some small bites and pastries. Ordered an iced coffee which they can make the vanilla flavored one sugar free and hot cappuccino (which was too hot but we added some milk to cool it down). Coffee was nice, not sweet at all and slightly more bitter than I'm used to. Also got two cookies, chocolate chips and it had macadamia nuts, oatmeal, and maybe coconut flakes. There is an array of pastries displayed such as cakes, brownies, scones, etc. They also have bottled drinks for a quick grab and go option. The only downside is the place is tiny, which is why it's a good grab and go place because the seating gets in the way of the register line. I noticed most customers are employees from the other stores and they tend to eat here or grab something to go. Since seating is limited, it's still nice to eat and stay for a bit. They have their own free wifi as well.

We decided to stop by to try this place. Delicious Hot late coffees tasty pastry’s with nice outdoor sitting area. This spot is 1,000 times better than ANY Starbucks!
This is the best anytime if the day spot the variety of food is so good and everything is delicious from paninis to pastries, the staff is so friendly and helpful, i with the patio was prettier but it's a great spot to people watch and enjoy the day.

I love this place. The sandwiches are amazing and I haven't tried one I don't like. I do wish there was more inside seating but you can sit in the mall right across from the cafe.

My wife and I came here last week for something different for dinner and we were not disappointed. The staff is friendly and helpful.My wife loved the Garlic Pesto Chicken panini and my Chipotle chicken panini was great. So this week we thought we would try it again. Again the food was excellent and so was the service. The desserts looked so good we had to try something. Tonight it was the Carrot bar. It was like eating a compact version of the carrot cake. Lots of great flavors that combine into a small dessert. This was the perfect size for after dinner.Great job Cafe Valer. West Covina needs more quality restauraunts like them. 2/1/24 Still one of my favorite places to eat. The paninis are great. Lots of flavor.

Incredibly good sandwiches, paninis, sweets, etc! Good quality, nice flavors, and lots of options! No matter how busy it gets during lunch time, the staff is still nice and helpful, not making you feel bad for asking for something. Nice casual outside area to enjoy your lunch outside while on my lunch break!

Coffee frappe is not too sweet and has a great body of flavor to it. The chicken pesto salad is herby deliciousness. I love having a bite here with healthy options while shopping. Such a cozy cafe and friendly atmosphere.
