Looking forward to having dinner here...BUT it was disappointing. Ordered cheese enchiladas and a chile relleno. The enchiladas were good with plenty of cheese. The chile relleno was a total Fail. Tony, who happened to be the host, cashier, waiter and and cook possibly did not know how to prepare the egg batter for the chile relleno. So my chile was wrapped in an egg blanket. He fried an egg and covered my chile in it. My daughter had the same, so hers was the same too. He should have just said they're our of chiles instead. The owner was walking out of the restaurant as we arrived and returned as we were ready to leave. I brought it to his attention and he said I'm just a customer I don't work here. Pretty sad. Oh, the jamaica was amazing!

Food is barely regular. Best choice would be menudo & pozole. Place feel kinda sad and old. There was an annoying fly around the table.

I've been searching for a restaurant that serves good menudo every week I stay in West Covina. I finally found it! Don Lencho's menudo is on point, very delicious, so much flavor and has a lot of meat! I will be back again.
Visiting my grandson in West Covina California and looked for a Mexican food restaurant for menudo for my wife. Saw this place had a 4 star rating and the picture of the bowl of menudo looked good so we tried it. It's not a beautiful freestanding restaurant and the inside is just a little plane but the food is fantastic. The refried beans were authentic and has great flavor. My cheese omelette was so good I didn't have to use ketchup. I ordered just a cheese omelette and it had the good ol' Mexican cheese in it, on it and around it and the flavor was great. My favorite omelette now. The boleio bread they serve with menudo was excellent and my wife loved the menudo, and she is picky about her red menudo. Homemade potatoes were very good as well. Don't judge a book by its cover. This place is awesome.

If I could give this establishment zero stars I would. The lone gentleman running this is place is painfully clueless and didn't seem to comprehend simple requests. Customer service is sub abysmal. The $4.00 burned coffee hit the spot... I declined a refill. After waiting 25 minutes for a check, I walked up to the register to get my total read out to me. I asked for a "check" and he looked at me like I had 3 heads.You have many choices for Mexican in the area... this should not be one, unless you are seeking an experience in non fine dining.

Service was really good 5 stars I got the eggs Rancheros. And they have eggs Mexican. The difference is one has the vegetables on top the other ones has salsita on it It was really good the salsa taste good not to spicy But they have a spicy one and is really good ?. Nice humble please to eat. Was on the way to Yaamava and wanted real breakfast.

To be honest, I really dislike to wait too long to get my food when I go out to eat, except when the food tastes really good. If you are looking for a place to eat delicious food and don't care about the wait, I recommend you trying Don Lencho. I've live many years around this area and never heard of Don Lencho, thanks to google maps we found it. EVERYTHING we ordered tasted so good and definitely going back again! My daughters are picky eaters and they loved their food. Green and red pozole were delicious. You must try their Pancakes. To the server thank you for being patient with us and bringing all requested items. We visited Friday last week in the morning and the parking lot had several spaces available.
