Food is ok. The service is good. The limited ingredients you get with the ramen make you feel like you want more. Perhaps things will pick up after the remodeling outside. I do recommend going at happy hour during 2pm to avoid any lunch rush.

Comparatively large portion. Thin ramen noodle, thin cut Chasu instead of the traditional thick one. A little bit on the expensive side considered everything. The calamari is delicious! The grill the calamari before deep-frying it which added an additional layer of flavors. Must try! (The size of the fries which came with the calamari is unexpectedly large)The hostess is very friendly as well.

Restaurant was completely empty. We went for lunch during a weekday. Restaurant is clean, service was attentive but the food was disappointing. It almost looked like I had made it at home. I have never seen the pork chopped in little cubes in ramen... or vegetables for that matter. Pretty disappointed and I will not be going back.

I recently visited Fujin Ramen and was disappointed with the quality of the ramen. While the broth had a decent flavor, the noodles were overcooked and the overall dish was lacking in texture and depth. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and clean. However, the ramen was the main reason for my visit, and it was not up to par.On a positive note, the appetizers were tasty, with the Gyoza being a standout dish. It was cooked well and my son finished all the Gyoza. The prices were reasonable, but the quality of the ramen was not worth the cost. If you're in the area and looking for a quick bite, the appetizers might be worth a try, but I wouldn't recommend Fujin Ramen solely for their ramen.Overall, my experience at Fujin Ramen was average. The ramen was not so good, but the appetizers were decent and the service was friendly.

I've been on the hunt to find my go-to ramen in the area ever since I moved here, and after seeing how highly rated Fujin Ramen was, I knew I had to come by sooner or later. It should've been later, because this was just not it.The inside was a little dark, and the outside not so welcoming (it didn't help that they still had the padlock on the door when we entered) but we didn't let it falter us. Our server was nice, but it was a Thursday afternoon (around 1 PM) and we were surprised to say the least that the restaurant was a ghost town. Literally no customers inside besides us, which definitely threw us off and was probably a sign for us to turn around. But we didn't let it bother us too much, at least the service should be good, right? Not really, they were always huddled in the back talking to each other, which I would never mind but it was so hard to call for their attention to take our order for some reason. I ordered the Raijin Ramen, medium spice, with the Carolina Reaper powder on the side. The toppings were lackluster, green onions, sesame seeds (does that even count?), bits of ground beef that sank to the bottom of the broth, and 3 pieces of some of the mostly thinly sliced chashu I've had in awhile. The chashu was fatty yet with little to no flavor (seasonings who?), and was about 80% straight pork fat and 20% slivers of actual meat. It would cost another $2 to add bamboo shoots and each individual added topping was priced $1 or more. There was more to be desired, and this dish was in dire need for more toppings that I shouldn't need to pay extra for.You might as well buy a pack of instant Marutai ramen for $4.49, because that's basically what this broth tasted like. It was thin, soupy, and underwhelming for what it's worth. Whatever $14 I spent on this ramen definitely did not go into whatever they used to make the broth. I always, and I mean ALWAYS, finish my ramen and leave a clean bowl before I leave. This was the first time in a couple years since I didn't finish the soup, and the soup is usually the highlight of ramen for me.The noodles were fine, at this point the bar was in hell and that was all I willingly (and begrudgingly) finish. There is much better ramen out there around this price range, but if you're craving for a solid ramen fix, Fujin Ramen is probably not where you're going to get it from. We left without looking back, and probably won't be back here again.

Excellent Service, the quality of the dishes did not match the price they were charging. I had the Black Garlic Ramen and it came with an unnecessary amount of canned corn. Shin Sen Gumi and Ramen Nagi are better Ramen choices

First time dining in and it was with my sister and our kids.... Anytime the kids outnumber us, it's always hard to remember to take pictures. I got the fujin ramen and added soft tofu. Shared this with my daughter and she liked it. The sweet potato fries were really thick and yummy. Takoyaki balls were good too. Very fluffy in the inside. Probably tasted like 2-3 pieces of octopus per ball. One star off because the restaurant was really stuffy. We asked if they can turn the air on and the server said she'll check but it didn't feel like it was turned on at all. When we were eating the noodles it got hotter. Our babies cheeks were turning rosey. Definitely kid friendly as they do provide food scissors and kiddy bowls.

I don't know where to start. I've been goin here weekly and it never seems to disappoint, the ramen is magnificent the ambience is exceptional and on top of that the manager Sophie is an Angel she def. Deserves a raise/promotion or just simply the recognition of a professional that she deserves. Btw this is my first review in my almost 28 years it just goes to show how great of a establishment this gem is and the customer service is just as amazing

So this is my second time at this ramen spot and unfortunately as a lot of other reviews have stated, the noodles are inconsistent. While the tonkatsu broth is very flavorful, chashu pork was nice, noodles are such an integral part of ramen. My first visit was spot on especially in terms of noodle texture but this second time, far from perfect. It is such a shame because also as many others have stated, the wait staff is very friendly, polite and attentive. Hopefully they will attempt to maintain some consistency as the Hong Kong Plaza is getting built up. Certainly an ok ramen bowl if you have the craving, but needs work at the moment.

Ordered chicken ramen and vegetarian ramen. Extremely skimpy on ingredients they even forgot to include broccoli for the veggie ramen. The veggie ramen barely had not even a pinch of onion. Asked for spicy fire level however it barely had a kick. Any extra add ons for the ramen is ridiculously overpriced for example a tablespoon of corn will cost 2$. To top it off had to deal with a rude middle eastern waitress she rolled her eyes at me and kept staring at me from afar wen I asked another staff member for spicier chili paste. This place is not worth the price at all. Almost 20$ for only one bowl ofbroth and noodle. Not worth it

Really bad ramen. Noodles were low quality. Corn was cold. The pork belly wasn't heated up as it's supposed to so all the fat remained and tasted like non-crispy bacon. Came here b/c of all the great reviews but the place clearly has gone down hill.

There is a very kind atmosphere and little wait time (20 seconds) always attentive workers walking around ready to help with any questions you may have. Overall great food fresh vegetables and fruits such as scallions . Personally met the manager very young but kind and hardworking.Kid-friendliness: Very kind and safe space for children felt very protective and attentive for both adults and children alike
