When I arrived at the register there was a middle-aged looking man at the register who was glued to his phone and did not look at my direction. I waited for about five minutes. Workers were all over the place, yet no one greeted me or acknowledged I was there. I just walked out. Very disrespectful. Sorry I came here. I won't again.EDIT: I see a few other people had similar interactions as well in the comments. Even though they have a big "no phone at work" sign visible in the back that customers can see from the register, the employees are not respecting it, goofing off on their devices, ignoring customers and ruining the business. You lost me as a customer because of this. I won't be back again.

Everytime I go there and try to order steak empanadas the employees say it is SOLD OUT. Whether I come in the morning , afternoon or end of day they are "sold out". I asked the employee how they could be sold out and they simply don't make it all the time. The owner isn't interested in functioning as a real business . But doesn't matter because this place is DIRTY. Lady at the counter wears gloves, picks up chicken empanadas and packs it in a box and then proceeds to ring up the cash register wearing the SAME gloves and then continues to help the next customer with the SAME gloves . They must wear the gloves to protect themselves rather than wear it for food safety . This is as bad or worse than not washing your hands!

Baked goods are perfect! Always been satisfied with their services! However, please be mindful about egg shells left in the ingredients

Best chicken empanada in LA! Always a hit in our get togethers! They make it fresh daily!

The empanadas are delicious and down right "yummy". You can taste all the ingredients. No matter what you order beef, chicken, mushroom or corn you just can't go wrong. And kudos to the staff who greet you with a smile and are very helpful.

A nice little hidden gem where you can get some delicious lunch/snacks for a very reasonable price. The empanadas are all very flakey and moist on the inside, and are all packed full of delicious fillings of your choice. They might not look like much from the outside, but a few bites and you'll be pleasantly surprised. I don't recommend the regular chicken one unless you like a chicken version of pork floss, but the chicken fajita, beef, and mushroom were my favorites. The interior of the store itself is pretty clean with plenty of seating. Workers are very helpful and friendly. Would probably come back again.

Very good! I was in the area and was craving for some empanadas. Luckily this place was close by so I went. At first it was challenging to find them but I called and asked and they are at Phil House but the very end - you can't miss them from there! I had the Chicken Empanadas and they were delicious! I would come back again for them!

Love their empanadas. The crust is just right, sweet and not so flaky. Chicken and the steak cheese are my favorite.

It almost reminds me of a chicken pot pie made with love by one of my Tita's. Flew from Florida to bring some home to my mom who begged for 2 dozens. Worth the drive from LAX airport.

Just tried their empanadas and they were really good! The beef one had nice chunks and was really flavorful

The first time I tried this, I enjoyed the beef and apple pie (with caramel sauce) empanadas. I thought they were so good that I had to go back again. I didn't care too much for the chicken. When I went back again, I wasn't very impressed. I tried new flavors like the chicken fajita as well. I probably won't be making any special trips for these since I'm hesitant about the consistency.

We try their chicken empanadas for the first time dough is very delicious I wish they had other stuffings since I don't eat beef, but their ube rolls are yummy!

Good taste but a bit expensive and smaller in size.

Everything is so GOOD!!! A friend recommended this place to me and it did not disappoint! I honestly had a hard time finding it since there were no signs, but the SFC staff helped me out. Tucked into the corner of the food court area next to the toro-toro (kind of like a buffet, but not self serve). I recommend trying everything, but if your pockets and stomach doesn't have enough room, I definitely suggest leaving with at least one of the bibingkas! They have the classic, Ube, and Pandan. Pandan was my fave of the three flavors.
