A friend sent a picture of chicken skins aka as chicken cracklings. Decided to check out Philhouse, located inside Island Pacific Seafood market.The menu is a bit confusing. They offer combo plates with the option of 1,2 or 3 entrees and your choice of rice or pancit (noodles) or half and half. The problem is they don't tell you which items are included in combo plates. Luckily the server that was helping us was very patient as we kept asking question after question. Unfortunately, she also informed us all the items we selected were side dishes and not included in the combo plates. Very frustrating!We enjoyed the chicken skins, lechon (roast pork) and pork skewers. The crispy pata was disappointing. The meat was dry and not flavorful. The pancit was okay...I've had better...I've had worse.Overall, the experience was a bit disappointing. Can't say I will be returning any time soon.

This place reminds me of eating carenderia in the Philippines. In a bad way! I guess the servers are really trained not to give a lot of food, compared to other Chinese restaurants. In the Philippines if you eat in a "turo turo" or carenderia it feels like they don't give you enough food, they would scoop out less. It's kind of stingy in a way. Or they just don't want to waste their food on you? And this is how I feel over here, even asking for an extra soup, feels like asking too much. And it is not only for 1 server but everytime I come here with different server it is the same. One time I came around 8pm they are about to close, and this server almost doesn't want to give me extra soup, she just gave me half a cup. But I am saying this because we are not in the Philippines. The meat here is cheaper. They could at least give us extras sometimes.But anyway, I keep coming back back here because of my mom's request to buy her favorite meal. And they are tastier and cheaper than the other "turo turo" around the area.

This Filipino Fast Food is located inside the Island Pacific Supermarket.Yummmy dishes cooked daily. I love their BBQ and Crunchy Dilis.Friendly staff who are always willing to assist.Dining tables are set up in the area for your convenience but you can always have food to go.

They are good with to go items which is plenty to choose from their menu. I like their Kare kare and Adobong pusit. The nilagang Baka was superb love the broth it is full bodied, they did boiled for hrs long. And the meat is tender.

Cold sweet and sour fish. Maybe its just me i like sweet and sour fish hot or warm. I asked two people working there and they said its suppose to be cold. And they had this look of confusion as to why im asking. Eating at philhouse. Not to go. Cant do anything about it if people eat it cold.

I made an online order for my son's birthday party next week. I ordered the Handaan Package which consisted of 2 chicken tray options, 2 pork tray options, 2 beef tray options and a tray of pancit bihon. That seemed like plenty for my son's birthday. I get a confirmation call from PhilHouse. Apparently, my order was not enough. Apparently, the Handaan Package only feeds 40-50 people in total. I have a bigger party than that. What their website fails to display is information on tray size and how much their party platters will feed. When one orders party/catering sizes and the total is $389.99, you'd think you'd be getting the big party size trays. I had to go in person to confirm tray sizes. At the end of the day, I canceled my order because I paid waaaay too much to feed only 40-50 people.PhilHouse: IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO UPDATE YOUR ONLINE PARTY MENU DO NOT HAVE IT AVAILABLE TO ORDER FROM!!!!!

terrible customer service here, you have many options around here.. go elsewhere where they care about their guest. i tried giving them multiple tries and disappointed every time. another tip DO NOT order delivery from here.. they dont care what you order theyll put whatever they want. i understand if your out of food but why not try to contact the customer for a different option or to cancel the order. end of the day.. STAY AWAY

Been here several times and they have a variable of dishes , prices are moderate but worth it becouse it's good comfort food,, I like the lumpia, Screwed barbeque chicken and their beef caldereta. Overall great service and would recommend eating good Filipino food..
