Awful! Customers beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They have so much hidden fees! We went to their 12$ buffet and they charged us 30$ a person!!!!! That's ridiculous!!! Owner doesn't care about returning customers. We also had a party there and they told us it would be 1500$(already overpriced) but they charged us 2000$!!!! Why you ask? Hidden fees of course!!They said we can bring our own bartender, they then charged us a 100$ bartender fee. This is not a fee for the bartender, we paid the bartender and got the bartender ourselves! They did nothing but charge us a 100$ fee. We brought our own pork to the buffet and they charged us a 100$ fee for bringing our own food!!!! I am not joking!!! These fees were not discussed prior, they were just charged!!! They also didn't let us take home the leftovers!!!! They wrapped them up for the next day!!!! This place is disgusting and will find a reason to charge you extra without telling you....Now I know why they change names every month....

Truly love the authentic pinoy food from this spot. If you're a first timer, know that with each review comes with a different lens- giving a different perspective. I suggest you come try it out for yourself My family and I grew up knowing this place and their love for the community, that's why we keep coming back What's my favorite dish you ask? Without a doubt, it's their Kare-Kare with the OG white rice. Attached in the photo is their DELICIOUS watermelon drink. It's a must-try on your next visit! ANG SARAP! Props to management for holding it down and keeping things fresh. It always reminds me of home.

Fun Fact: Place has gone through 3 to 4 owner changes. It has been through couple of name changes also.Visitation Rights: Been here a handful of times through out the years. The only times I would go here is whenever my childhood friend has a craving for filipino breakfast. Well... I guess it can go both ways. I like filipino food also, but it can be a bit heavy. So I can't have it often.Credit Cards: They're acceptedRestrooms: The're available to be used.Location/Parking: Located in a decent size plaza on the NE corner of S. Azusa Ave. and Amar Rd.. There's also Jollibee in the same plaza! Go nuts on the peach mango pie for dessert! Decent amount of parking spaces in the shared parking lot. Ambiance/Decor: Alright ambiance with modern decor. Some times you can watch some "Eat Bulaga" episodes on the tv. I remember watching this on the tv when I was little even though I didn't know any tagalog. Fun times... lolEntertainment: They have live entertainment (7pm-12am) on the weekends. Sadly, I haven't experienced this but i'm sure it's great! :)Service: Not much service here. You pay up front, you get in line to get a plate, and then scoop up whatever food item you want to eat.Buffet Item Of Choice: Depends on what they serve on the day we patronize the shop. Over the years, they did offer longganisa (sweet sausage), aros caldo (similar to rice porridge), fried egg, dinuguan, sweet spaghetti, and garlic rice.Restaurant For Thought: Most likely coming back when the mood for filipino breakfast is greater than other ethnic cravings.

Buyer beware. Every time I go there it is so disappointing. Either the food is stale or sits under heat Lamp for a while. Service is poor. They switched prices on me. They tell me one thing and then when I was ready to pay switched it up. The least the owner could do was to honor the price for this time and train their people better to get prices correctly next time. Very poor customer interactions. Customers usually wait for napkins to be replenished. And worst of all, today the cashier blew her nose and then Grabbed the to go box to give to me. I told her to give me another box because she contaminated it already. I should have asked her to wash her hands. Terrible!

September 4, 2022 1:30pm 1./ Outside temperature is 102F and inside is 94F. The management doesn't care if customers are there eating like if they are in an oven. Don't know if their A/C is working or not. Socal Flex alert is not yet activated. Lady chitchating with her friends went inside and took out a tower fan and placed it near their table. 2./ Their bagoong or alamang for the kare kare is super salty like as in SUPER. I think the cook did not wash it twice or even once. 3./ The tables are dirty. Although customers take out their own plates and utensils after their use, crumbs and everything remains on the table. Nobody bothers to clean up for new customers. 4./ Grilled pork is hard and salty too. Who knows how long have they been sitting there. 5./ You can see the blood in their chopped Chicken Inasal. Definitely not cooked well. 6./ Their grilled fish is horrible and their bangus is dry. 7./ We saw previous frustrated customers who were there before us moved to neighboring Dollar Hits to compensate for the unpleasant experience at Bistro Filipino. Will definitely NOT come back nor recommend.

I wanted to give this restaurant a chance since they opened but every time they disappointed me. Their food is either stale or been sitting under heat lamp for a while and does not look fresh even when it just opens. Today I had another disappointment. The cashier quoted me one price for a take out and changed prices on me when I was ready to pay. She said she made a mistake. The owner could have accepted the price for it was only $4 difference. but she did not. I paid for it anyway because I wanted to get out of there. On top of this the cashier blew her nose and then grabbed the take out box. I told her to give me another one because she contaminated it already. Buyer beware here. Very expensive too. A single serving champurrado is $9.00.

Food was not fresh, not any good selection. Their only desserts was sweetened bananas that day. Rice was old too. 2 start for employees were very nice.

We recently ate breakfast at your place, Sunday morning. 1. Your dilis is processed, not fresh. 2. Your halo halo which we order all the time had no taste and just full of gulaman & ube icecream. Terrible. Your breakfast is nothing special, tuyo, dilis, champorado & lugao for $13 ???

Breakfast buffet is mediocre. I could've cooked it better. A bit pricey for just mediocre breakfast.

Love your Breakfast selection! Your Champorado is actually the best! My son, Matthew Apostol, and his gorgeous, oh my gosh, Sexy wife, Idania Apostol, land her Mom, my Balae (Consuegra) Maria, always love your selection! Matt loves the Kare-Kare, especially, because the meat is so tender! I highly recommend this place. It's cozy, the owner, Hera is do friendly and accommodating g! It's our top choice for Filipino food in the area.

Filled with a variety of filipino food! Def feels like home! It's buffet style as well, which makes it better. Lunch starts at 11pm and we were just right on time.
