Unfortunately we had a bad customer service experience. The owner whose picture is on the wall just had a bad attitude with no customer service skills. He should probably consider staying in the background and letting his staff deal with the paying customers. We will consider not coming here again due to his lack of welcoming customer service.

Should be 4.5 stars! We ordered the bbq wings and the goomba pizza I think it was called. The wings were $11 for 6 which for the price… they were good but I wouldn’t spend that money on them again. Now the pizza… even for $22 my goodness… might be the best pizza I’ve ever had. I thought it was gonna be super dense but the dough was light and fluffy and just perfect. Crispy cheese on the side and gooey cheese on top was just perfect in every way. We also used the spicy honey and that took it to another level I didn’t know existed! Will definitely come back for the pizza!!!

Delicious Detroit Styled Pizza, food absolutely hit the spot and excited to go back again. Only complain is that they're not open during lunch hours, though that might be better for my waistline!

Tried this place on what I believe was their first night in the new location. The food is fabulous. Detroit style pizza is different than what I was used to, but it is delicious. Very happy to have them in the neighborhood!

Amazing pizza!! Super cheesy and saucy! Way better than Chicago style pizza. This is award winning Detroit style pizza. Chef Ryan has a recipe and it works. Try any of their pizza it’s unreal!! Served with ranch, honey, and peppers on the side. You’ll be sure to come back!

We had the D-Town Supreme Pizza and a half order of Garlic Cheese Sticks. Definitely don't leave here without trying the cheese sticks!! They are so absolutely delicious, and a whole order is the same size as a pizza, and honestly, I wish we got the full order. The Supreme pizza was delicious as well, the veggies are fresh, and the sauce was yummy. They also have Faygo, which is a soda from Michigan. Detroit style pizza is always a delicious treat :) The service here is really good, everyone is so friendly and on top of it. Seating can be hard to come by, so make sure you aren't in any hurry when you come here, or order ahead for take out. I will definitely be back, and I can't wait for their new location in the Valley!Vegetarian options: There is also Pho hereParking: You have to find metered parking down the street, and then you walk into the little plaza where the restaurant is located. It's near the entrance to The Avalon.

Tried Dtown pizza a month ago due to all the rave reviews. I'm from Detroit, grew up eating Buddy's pizza...and yo. This is not legit Detroit style pizza. It was mediocre at best, really disappointing. Ended up ordering from the Vietnamese menu (those imperial rolls were so good). Came back to get some more of those imperial rolls from Phorage last week and found out Dtown is not there anymore. Guess Dtown didn't make it. Not surprised. Well, its definitely not a loss, folks!

Best pizza in LA. My boyfriend and I are huge foodies and this is the best spot hands down. The flavor, the crunch, the toppings. AMAZING!!!!

I drove here from the Valley on a whim, certain it would come close to Jet's back East at best. I expected to be pleasantly disappointed. I was wrong. It's every bit as good as the hype. Also, the staff are friendly and cool. Prob best to eat there but I had to beat traffic back. My only major concern is a spot this good going the way of Umami. Most of us shudder at the tragic downfall of one of LA's best burger spots once upon time...

Was okay, but bottom of crust was a bit soggy as was the centre of the pizza. Cheese was a bit cold as well. We were sat outside because 2 people weren't allowed to sit at the table for 4 indoors, but we're often forgotten about for drinks. Couldn't even order more drinks if we wanted to. Was definitely not worth the price.
