I'm done with this place and its chain-smoking owner or whoever the woman is that sits outside blowing smoke and talking loudly on the phone all the time. I tolerated it because the food was good but the quality has been going down for a while. Today I ordered the Salmon Quinoa Bowl which features grilled salmon quinoa, quinoa, baby gem lettuce, heirloom tomatoes, snap peas and avocado. Sounds good, right? It probably would be if it came like that. Instead of baby gem lettuce I got a gigantic serving of shredded iceberg lettuce. Iceberg! The cheapest and least flavorful of lettuces. And instead of heirloom tomatoes there were a few sliced grape tomatoes thrown in. Again, cheap and flavorless. No more. Bye, Food Lab.

30 minutes to figure out that I placed an order and make a breakfast burrito? When no one else is there? Raises eyebrows.

Super cute lunch spot! Has windows with bright light and outdoor seating on a little patio. I'm not sure how I've passed it for this long without noticing it, but it's definitely worth revisiting!I ordered the "famous schnitzel salad", it was awesome and next time I'll probably try the sandwich version!

This place is a whole vibe! It feels secluded from the outside world which I love. There is outside seating that’s cozy. Tbh when I first saw the menu I wasn’t too excited. We tried two sandwiches, one of them was chicken and the other chicken curry, and let me tell you… The chicken curry sandwich was out of this world! Definitely will be back to try more stuff. What made me really exited about this place is that even after finishing and entire sandwich I felt light. See you soon food lab:)

Pretty bad service. Forgot 2 of my items and my iced tea was truly basically water, they had just stuck a tea bag in ice water :(

Exceptional, best food in the area hands down. Especially for lunch.

Their scrambled egg sandwich is one of the best breakfast sandwiches out there, bar none, every time I've had it.

Oh my god the scrambled egg sandwich is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Mouth watering. Obsessed. Will get again.

Amazing Sandwiches! The Green Lab and The Garden can both be made vegan. Pro tip: ask for it on seeded ciabatta, it's incredible!Just delicious!

Food was fresh but it’s not really worth it especially for a 20$ salad I feel like I could’ve got the same from stator bros it wasn’t all that

One in a while I wish Yelp had a 10 star option for places like this. I came here by chance and I am honestly blown away. Having the green lab sandwich and it is one of the best sandwiches I have had. The bread is perfect. It's really crusty delicious bread. The flavors are so good, the quality of ingredients is very obvious. Cute location off the alley and excellent service. Great menu with good vegetarian and vegan options along with meat options. Please open a location in the Valley!

Pleasantly surprised by Foodlab! I ordered via email with a large office order (which they handled with grace, labeling everything), but didn't expect the set up when I arrived. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised since it's referred to as "Foodlab in the Alley." It still took me a drive around the block to find it. When I was picking up the order that was all ready on time, I got to see a photographer hard at work! They must have been photographing some menu items for a website or something. They were taking freshly made sandwiches from the kitchen and photographing with mostly natural light on their back patio in the alley. All of the items looked great, but I mostly appreciated the authenticity. I ordered "The Incredible Hulk" which was very refreshing. I was a little thrown because I've never had a sandwich with literal planks of feta on it. It didn't have the best structural integrity, and the pea smash was oozing through the holes in the bread (I was jealous of the other sandwiches that came on ciabatta or baguettes).

I got the Turkey and Brie sandwich.I love the combination of the Turkey, Brie, and pear but the problem is you can only get that when you eat down the middle. The brie is a strip of brie down the center and pear slices on top. The pear slices are thick. This would be much better if the brie was sliced thinner and distributed more evenly on the sandwich as well as the pear slices. The pear slices are a good quarter inch thick. I measured it! Half that would be great.I get that some of these places want to be "different" or have a unique experience but at the cost of half the sandwich just being turkey and bread because they only line the middle with the cheese and fruit defeats the purpose.

Tried giving these jerks another chance because they DO make good salads, but this is the last time. After waiting an hour and a half, they cancelled my order because the store was "closed". I ordered my two salads at 1:00, and their Yelp says open till 4. Your restaurant is the worst
