Lady Hawk is a fantastic, trendy restaurant nestled within the Kimpton La Peer hotel. Securing reservations a few weeks in advance is essential due to its high demand. Upon visiting with my friends, we were thoroughly impressed. Every aspect, from the decor to the service and ambiance, exceeded our expectations. We opted for the Mezze platter, which turned out to be larger than anticipated but incredibly satisfying. We also indulged in the za'atar man'oushe, seared halloumi, shawarma skirt steak, and half chicken--all of which were delightful. Sharing is recommended, so keep that in mind when ordering. Despite leaving with leftovers, we were eager to return for more.

My review is a bit overdue as we came during the holidays. Plus, you know it's good when you think about it from time to time. The chef won 'top chef middle east' and there's a pretty good write up at LATimes with his background and places he's worked at. Definitely come with a group. The star of the night was the mezze platter, and every dish on the platter was delicious. The little plates of baba ganoush, different types of hummus, were definitely classic flavors but also had their own spin to them. We kept scooping and turning the table and we just couldn't get enough. The service was excellent, and they recommended an excellent lebanese wine as well.

This place blew us away far beyond our expectations! Reading the menu I wasn't sure if I would like it much but wow everything was amazing! Definitely kudos to the Chef and his team. The service was outstanding from start to finish. I could see that management has definitely improved much better compared to the past reviews because we didn't come across any issues or attitude problems. I've attached photos of our favorites. I will surely come back and try more dishes! Their cocktails and mocktails were on point too! A nice selection of wines as well. You can't go wrong with this place in LA. You won't disappoint!

This place deserves a 10/10. 5/5. 4000/4000. Wow! We ordered everything and literally EVERYTHING was bomb from start to dessert. Hats off chef

This place was a 11/10 honestly. So surprised it’s rated 4.1I myself am Lebanese and the food was definitely Lebanese with a twist - a really GOOD twist. My husband and I basically ordered everything. We got garlic labneh 9/10, hummus 11/10, Batata harra 11/10 AMAZING, I got the halloumi salad 10/10, my husband got fatoush salad 10/10, and he got this fish he said it was amazing. For desert we got the passion fruit mhalabia, I was spectacle about the passion fruit with that type of dessert, but it was the best thing we’ve ever had, we had to order another round. I will literally trust anything on that menu.Ps There’s atmosphere was immaculate.

WOW WOW WOW!!! A 10/10 restaurant! I frequently dine at very upscale restaurants in LA and enjoy eating good food. This place is amazing. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. I love how you feel the Lebanon cuisine, but I have the trendy culture of LA. It is a perfect mix. This is what we ordered and it was delicious. We had the Babaghanouj, Muhammara, Batata Harra, Za'atar Man'oushe, spicy Hummus, ahi tuna, and the shawarma steak with a side of carats. The dessert was insanely good too. Our waitress, Gina, was very informative and has excellent customer service skills. I can't recommend this place enough! And to the Chef: Your food is absolutely incredible. You were meant to open a restaurant in La. Everything was perfection. I can't wait to go back!

I was treated to a birthday dinner at Chef Charbelt’s restaurant Ladyhawk and it was an exceptional experience end to end. Our waiter was attentive and swift, which was appreciated. The cocktails were strong but delicate, with a few unique liqueurs from the Middle East that were fun to try. The food was on a different level though. I wanted to come to a Top Chef restaurant for my birthday for a reason and Chef Charbelt did not disappoint. Everything was so excruciatingly fresh it made me question the quality of everything else I eat. Seriously, I never knew olives could taste so good. The only drawback was the table we were sat on was almost too small to fit everything. Also, the bathroom is a bit of a trek. Other than that though 10 out of 10 would dine again. Thank you Chef!

I went there to celebrate a dear friend's birthday. I didn't know much about the chef, but his food spoke volumes. Each dish was better than the last, creating an incredible culinary journey. He was gracious enough to take a picture with our group, making the experience even more memorable. The ambiance was simply enchanting. The décor was tastefully curated, with elegant touches adding to the overall charm.

Being Lebanese I'm always critical of Lebanese food. This place is spot on and even better than I expected. If it was closer to Orange County I'd been there weekly. I will still be back, but unfortunately not as often as I want to. Aside from the food being absolutely spectacular, our waitress Bella went out of her way to provide us impeccable service. Her section was very busy and she maintained her attention to all her tables. Parking was easy on the street but valet was right there too. Highly recommend!

Another expense account dinner, second in a week after years going without! Booked this spot as a pre show meal for a night at the Troubador down the block, it's great for that purpose if you are trying to kill time between sound check and show time. This is a hotel restaurant, which I didn't know because I never go to weho unless I'm having a novelty meal at SUR. There is an indoor dining room and a patio. I booked the patio. There were a handful of babies on the patio. It makes sense given the hotel location but the hostess almost blushed as she tried to give me a table directly behind a crying baby. To her credit she didn't persist with the attempt when I raised my eyebrow at her.Service was very good, the server was knowledgeable and professional and they weren't understaffed, which is a common la restaurant scene issue. The food was good but not particular inspired. The prices are in line with the area (weho/bh) but I felt like I could have basically had the same meal for half the price at a myriad of east side restaurants (momed, for example). The cuisine is good for going out afterwards, you can eat a full meal here and not be overfull. I would come back if I had another Troubador event or if someone was staying at the hotel but otherwise no. Too many other spots to explore!Vegetarian options: Middle Eastern, plenty of optionsDietary restrictions: Should be fine.Parking: Valet, some garages, some street.Kid-friendliness: Yes, ask for the patio!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.

Highly recommended Middle Eastern menu with a California twist. The mezzes were great as the fish was incredible. Service was wonderful but there was a thirty minute wait to get seated even though we had a reservation.

Ladyhawk offers a variety of dishes, with some shining brightly and others falling short. The Babaganoush stands out with its smoky flavor and fluffy pita, while the Halloumi salad impresses with its local ingredients and generous portions. The Za'atar Man'oushe delights with nuanced flavors, but the carrots disappoint in blandness despite being caramelized. On a positive note, the perfectly roasted Cauliflower with creamy nut sauce leaves a lasting impression. The Fish provides smokiness and a hint of jalapeno heat, yet lacks the promised spiciness. Overall, Ladyhawk's culinary journey presents both highs and lows, indicating potential for further gastronomic refinement. In terms of service, our server was exceptional, knowledgeable about the menu yet allowing us the freedom to order what we desired.Overall, I think there is still room for improvement, due to the high price tag, I'd give it 3 stars for now.

The best Lebanese food in LA hands down! Service is impeccable. Wine list and by the glass are fantastic. Food is delicious. Dessert was ok - just not sweet enough, but still modern takes on classics. Beautiful setting and space.

Parking in this section of West Hollywood is competitive, and if you don't Uber or easily find a meter, I recommend you pay the $20 to valet at Ladyhawk. The host stand is inside the lobby on the left, and interestingly the bathroom is a short walk outside of the restaurant and across the lobby. We were able to get reservations a week in advance, even with how trendy Ladyhawk is. I first heard about it from Thrillist's most exciting new restaurant list for LA. I loved the ambiance inside, and we just so happened to go on a Wine Wednesday where they select two bottles to be half price, so it was bustling with a few large groups. We'd brought our own bottle of wine and they were able to decant it for us tableside, which was greatly appreciated. Chef Charbel Hayek was the winner of Top Chef Middle East and a part of Top Chef All-Stars, and our server informed us that the Za'atar Man'oushe and Ahi Tuna Crudo were two of the dishes that helped him win Top Chef, so of course we ordered both. Our server described the Za'atar Man'oushe ($19) as a bread, but it really felt like more of a pizza. The menu is a bit vague but describes it as "48 hour fermented dough, wild thyme, olive oil, tomatoes, herbs, labneh" and we were surprised and impressed by the presentation when it arrived, although we weren't blown away by the taste - it really didn't live up to the hype, but it was interesting with cream droplets decorating the center, topped with something from a vial table side, snd it tasted very strongly of dried oregano. Under appetizers, I do recommend you share two seafood dishes: the Ahi Tuna Crudo ($25) in cubes that reminded me of watermelon, with orange blossom, charred cucumber, avocado, and citrus, as well as the Octopus ($24) with crispy potatoes, chorizo butter, and lemon relish. Unfortunately, I disliked how sweet the Grilled Maine Scallops ($27 for 3 scallops) were. I prefer scallops with a savory sauce, and these were so sweet I felt they should have been listed on the dessert menu instead. The description lists vanilla, fennel, green shatta, orange, and puffed rice, but I still wish they included Sweet in the title or description. Our server did recommend ordering the octopus instead of the scallops, and we should have listened to her advice and just ordered the octopus, but as two people who usually love scallops I didn't expect I could dislike them so much. Under salads, the Seared Halloumi Salad ($20) was a generous portion size, refreshing, and great to share - especially if you enjoy a slight bitterness to your salads. It came on a bed of arugula, radicchio, and spinach, topped with tomatoes, avocado, and sumac. If they had an option to add chicken on top, I think this would also be the perfect lunch entree. From the Mezze section, I absolutely loved the Babaghanouj ($16) charred eggplant, tahini, lemon, and yogurt. Since I'm gluten free and couldn't eat the pita, they were able to do a 50-50 split so that I could have the lettuce cups, which were perfectly fresh & crisp. We saw many tables nearby with larger groups ordering the Ladyhawk Mezze Table Platter ($110) to share, which seems worthwhile if you're a larger party because it looks giant and includes a rotating platter of mezzes with pita. From the Wood Grill, we shared the Olive Crusted Rack of Lamb ($66) as our main entree, and we loved it. When ordering, they ask how you'd like your lamb cooked, and we went with medium-rare. The cut was definitely on the fattier side, but it went perfectly with the dehydrated olives and herb crusting and side of garlic yogurt. They brought out a sharper knife for this course, which was definitely needed. The server was very friendly and I loved her personality, but unfortunately they didn't come to refill our water glasses during our two hour dinner until after we had paid the bill and I was very thirsty.
