10/10! I came here for a solo dinner on a weekday night. The servers were extremely attentive and friendly and made some great menu recommendations. The food came out quickly. I got the three item bento box, which was absolutely delicious and a great value, especially for the neighborhood. Definitely a hidden gem in West Hollywood - the neighborhood needs more of these types of local, friendly spots with amazing food and great prices. I can't wait to come back!

Quality has went down over the years. It used to come out really fresh and now it dry, cold and almost feels like it’s pre-prepared. We went twice a week prior, so we’re knowledgeable about the change. Maybe a new Chef?

Our local Sushi joint that shares a driveway and parking lot with Barneys Beanery. You can go from burgers and beer to sushi and sake. Now that is surf and turf in West Hollywood.Curbside dinning and large screen T.V.'s inside for watching sports. Teriyaki rice bowls and Bento boxes are waiting for you. Salmon sushi and a large Sapporo is my jam.

While the name of this restaurant is Japanese, the food & service at this restaurant was not Japanese in the least. I have lived in West Hollywood for over 10 years, & had never gone to this restaurant until this year when my friend invited me to join him for dinner.Parking at the restaurant was $20+ for the 1-hour that we were there since there is very limited parking in the immediate vicinity. The wait staff & overall atmosphere was not friendly nor inviting & most definitely not Japanese. Being Japanese, we take pride in the quality & preparation of the food & what was called "sushi" was poor at best. The sushi that can be purchased at Tokyo Central/Marukai, Mitsuwa or Nijiya markets are much better than what we were served. The food here was on par with the American version of Yoshinoya's Japanese food which is just awful. To give another frame of reference, it would be like taking your friends from Mexico to Taco Bell & telling them that it is authentic Mexican cuisine. If you want great Japanese food, ask an actual Japanese friend for a recommendation. This will not be on my list of recommended places though.
