Ate here because I stayed here but if I wasn't I don't think I'd go out of my way. The service was really nice. The guy was super friendly. It was pretty slow but it was also just him. The prices are higher but pretty comparable to other hotels. I got a vegetarian breakfast burrito and honestly it was a good burrito but I feel like $20 for just the burrito but no sides is a bit much for me. But that's just me. In reality it's a pretty average price. Anyways food was good, service was great, atmosphere is nice but overall nothing to write home about.

The food from The Riot Restaurant & Bar was good, but the hours are not that great. We ordered when we checked into the hotel (Andaz West Hollywood). We had to order from the Riot House Market, which comes from the kitchen. You can sit in the bar to wait and eat. Hamburger was good as were the fries. I got a sandwich from the market that was forgettable. The Bar/Restaurant opens in the evening and only serves inside the bar which is only lit by candles (4) . Dark bar and hard to see the menu. Only light was from TVs. We ordered the Chicken Wings (BBQ sauce) and Cobb salad. Both were very good. Bar staff was dressed...hmmm too casual? Bartender shirt had no shape, like going to the gym. Don't know if I would go out of my way just to go there.

This review just relates to the bar. Utterly rude/disinterested barman. Sorry we were such an inconvenience when we approached to order drinks, it was crystal clear you didn’t want us there despite us being friendly to you, you couldn’t have been more arrogant. I will never come here again.

The food is very good, I ordered the fried chicken and waffle, love it~Just the cleanliness may need to be improved...Utensil and water glass is dirty...Other wise this dish is sooo hood

An embarrassment. Tonight I was with three family members. They were drinking but I was the only one eating. I ordered a burger. It took over two hours before I got up and left. The ridiculousness of having to wait longer than 20 minute for a medium burger is absurd. I will NEVER be going/eating here again, and I suggest you dont either.

The food is decent, but definitely not worth what they charge. They have standard hotel restaurant dishes but with gourmet level pricing. Doesn’t add up. On top of the inflated prices, there are other surprise fees you’ll see on your bill after. Yay!They don’t alert customers to this ahead of time, but they have a shady practice of adding an 18% additional “Service Charge” to your bill. Just because. When I asked about it, they said that charge is the gratuity. But there’s still a line for gratuity. And again, they explain none of this unless you ask. Seems deceptive, and I’m not even sure the Service Charge really goes to the servers. But I wasn’t going to double-tip either, paying 40% extra on top of the inflated prices. That whole thing left a sour taste in my mouth, and is enough for me not to return.The servers were okay, but I could hardly get their attention even in the mostly empty restaurant. One acted like she’d rather not be working at all. The other was nice. Still, slow service over all though.I’m staying at the hotel for a few days, but after that bummer of an experience the first evening, I won’t return. There are plenty of other options around that offer better food, service, prices, and no mysterious surprise fees at the end.

Stopped by for some beers, nba, and mariachi on May 5. It was a fun experience! Service was great and the large open windows brought in a nice breeze. Looking forward to visiting again!

I ate here every morning for breakfast while staying at the Andaz. They only offer breakfast and dinner. The menu is limited but all the food and drink that I had was great. I recommend the avocado toast and Bloody Mary. If you can, request Marvin as your waiter. He waited on me all three days and was fantastic. The only reason it doesn't get a 5 star is the wait time to be seated. Some mornings there was a 5+ minute wait just to get seated with no one in front of me in line.

We were looking for dinner someplace close to our hotel (the Mondrian) that was simple and Riot House hit the spot. The Riot House Burger was legitimately good -- maybe one of the better hamburgers I've had. Service was just ok which was frustrating because we were one of maybe 4 parties in the entire restaurant.
