They messed up my order and ensured me there was no pork but opened my order and it was the pork sausage and the chicken Cesar wrap has bacon in it. They don’t care about their customers. And they don’t answer the phone! Very frustrating experience.

I love it here. I came briefly for coffee and the vibe is perfect. It is tucked away from Melrose and feels like an oasis. I am absolutely coming back to work and try some food.

Anticipate homestyle-sized tacos, not street tacos, at this place.Steak taco plate with the chipotle crema. Perfectly balanced with the right amount of heat. (FYI - Pico de gallo comes on the tacos)

Fancy looking coffee and pastries, without being as overrun as Alfred's. I came here just wanting food and wasn't disappointed. Their made-to-order dishes are especially nice. Breakfast Burrito: This is quite a breakfast! So many ingredients for nice mélange of textures and flavors. I especially liked the crispiness of the bacon and the hash browns. So I did enjoy the umami taste of the mushrooms, but the texture was a little squishy. They could have cooked them a bit more, so they don't squeak as much. That aside, still a great meal. Sausage Roll: Super thick sausage, especially for a sausage roll. Nice golden flaky pasty shell. Tons of toasted fennel seeds, which added such a flavorful aroma. This too could be a meal by itself. Chocolate Praline Muffin: I do like when muffins have some fillings, since that adds a bit of extra moisture and some more personality. The guy at the counter said it was praline filling, but to me I swear I tasted tahini. Regardless, nice pairing of cakey muffin and nutty filling.

*Food poisoning!* from the SOL Chop Salad. Both my wife and I were enjoying the salad, and then started violently vomiting within 15 minutes.Called the restaurant to warn them but I’m not sure they did anything. They just said okay. Bummer because we loved this place in our neighborhood :(

Not a fan. Why, you may ask? Well, let me tell you. It was my first time there. I asked a couple menu questions. The dark skinned guy behind the counter with glasses and blond tipped hair was rude, short and answered my 2 questions like it was a HUGE bother to him. I'm sorry, it's my first time there and I had 2 questions. If you don't like your job, you shouldn't be there because it's not a good look for patrons, especially new ones. That being said, their chicken tenders were soggy and gross. They have ketchup as a dipping sauce only (!!!). Who uses ketchup as a dipping sauce with chicken tenders?! I do not but maybe you do. My friend got a bowl which was overpriced with no flavor. We got sweet potato fries that were literally COVERED in salt...don't get me wrong, I love me some salt but this was disgusting! My other friend got the tuna melt and it was overpriced and mediocre at best. Food took 30 minutes to get there (there was one person ahead of us in line). I spent $5 on an iced tea that was half filled when I got it but I didn't say anything because I assumed I would get a refill. But no, NO refills on iced tea. On top of that, said worker in glasses was rude about it. Everyone gives refills on sodas and iced tea...why don't they, especially when it's $5 and not even filled when they give it to you?! This place is trendy but way overpriced for the mediocre at best food you get, food takes forever to get to you, no refills on $5 iced tea, and the staff is impatient, rude and short. This was my first and last time here and my friends and I will NOT be back. There's too many other good places nearby with better food for the price, refills on iced tea, quicker food, and staff that's not rude. SOL, do better.

I live right near SOL and it's got such a cute little patio we were excited. But the drinks are never consistent, the food is alright, some staff are nice & sweet but others are a bit rude. So even service is all over the place. I think the number 1 issue though is that they don't honor their hours. There's probably been 6 or 7 different times that they've closed almost 2+ hours early since we started going there (which has been for maybe 2 months) 30 min early? Alright I get it. But 2 hours...that's a bit crazy. Their hours should be 7am - close if they are never going to stay open til their posted time. The time they close will even be posted on a new post on their instagram and yet you go there and it's completely closed or they turn you away hours early.

This place doesn’t answer the phone!!!! I ordered a $30 coffee and chia pudding order on doordash and wanted my coffee iced because I just got my teeth whitened and can’t drink without a straw. There was no option on doordash to write instructions so I called this place no joke 10 times and no answer. When my doordash driver got there he asked them if they can talk to me on his phone and they said “no, not my problem”
