Had the omakase sushi and omagosh it was probably one of the best sushi we've ever had. The fish was out of this world, rice proportion was perfect, the vibe was spot on. Felt like we got transported to an Izakaya in Japan.

Very authentic, made by an older Japanese man, the sushi is like candy with complex variety of flavors... and best part... free parking in the back!!!

What a great dining experience! Family owned and you can feel the love and pride of ownership in each dish. We tried many things including gyoza, salmon skin roll, hamachi, mushroom miso soup (extra yum). Everything was good and the family were so nice. This is a traditional style Japanese restaurant so don’t come in asking for nobu style service. Learn the traditions and respect the service , then you will truly appreciate the dishes.

I found out after I walked up to the front of the door that there is parking available in the rear. The inside is really tiny, I'd guess they might get packed on some weekends. The menu is a little small outside of the big sushi selection. But its well made, the portions made me full, and it was the best eel bowl and tuna roll I've ever had in my life. It is just a little bit pricey, so I can only afford to come on rare occasions. It's in between Beverly hills and west Hollywood so I understand. Would love to come again and try their other menu items.

Good quick solo dinner. Seeing them prepare the dishes before your eyes is an experience, reminiscent of restaurants in Japan. As often happens there, the restaurant is small, tables for 2 or around the preparation

This restaurant should be banned, it is a scam!! They told us a certain quantity on our order and when our order came it was not even half of it, THAT TOO IN 1.5 HOURS. WHO ON EARTH MAKES TEMPURA IN 1.5 HOURS!! This has been the worst dining experience i have had anywhere in the world ever. Some one should take note and ban this place, it is one person making it and they keep on taking orders! IF YOU CANT HANDLE THE GUEST, LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE. MAKING SOMEONE WAIT 1.5 HOURS FOR FOOD WITHOUT EVEN HAVING THE COURTESY OF INFORMING THEM WHEN THEY ORDER.

The food. The service. The care and authenticity. You will not find this anywhere else in LA. If your interests are amazing food and service- you came to the right place the ambiance is beautiful as well. Think - I'm in Japan with great jazz-
