I've been coming to this place for a year already and I love!During quarantine I went there a couple of times because I cannot live without their Chicken Paillard and the meat ball pasta. So delicious!

It's a pretty good spot to study or do work. They have many outlets for laptops. The coffee is decent, but their croissants are amazing. I had ham and cheese and banana croissants and my favorite is the banana.

The service was outstanding! This is by far one of our best Michelin restaurant experiences.

Awesome place. We came for brunch and it was incredible. I had the heuvos rancheros and loved it. My friends all loved what they ordered too. Our server was really nice and on top of things. I will be back!

Good food and service if not busy. Want a great hamburger? This is the place. I can't wait for us to get Covid 19 under control so I can enjoy Taste again soon.

Better parking, cleaner and nicer staff! Food is just as good as the other location if not better. The waitstaff are quick to offer help and stop by the tables frequently. Spicy pork bone broth was good, definitely has a spicy kick. Japanese spicy miso is my go to. Almond milk tea is bomb! Also my fav dipping sauces is Japanese spicy sesame and satay sesame. Yum! Will definitely be back. Did not have to wait a minute to be seated on a Monday night around 8pm. Thanks for the great food and excellent service!

We used to be frequent Taste on Melrose delivery customers. However, the last two times ordering from Taste on Melrose via GrubHub - food was never delivered. And unfortunately, Grubhub stated to contact the restaurant directly which we did and could never get through to a person and left messages with no call back. Very disappointing especially when hungry and waiting for 1.5 hours for food.

Went tere with some friends during a convention in West Hollywood in May. The bar was the perfect waiting area and the meal was out of this world. Nice seafood platter for starters. All sorts of shells and seafood in three storey rack. The recomended ribeye was fantastic, best in a long long time.

Taste was bomb. I went for brunch and enjoyed everything. The truffle Mac was fantastic, and so was the lobster Benedict. I really liked the way they cooked the eggs and the portion size of the lobster was not underwhelming at all. I was full. The service was decent. I remember having to get up and ask for water and a check, but other than that I will for sure return. The chefs there are doing it right!

Taste on Melrose is probably once a 'want to be seen,' social restaurant. Pre COVID, was Really popular for the brunch crowds seeking bottomless mimosas. Sounds appealing, but my experience with bottomless drinks, is they're made with cheap alcohol which gives me a headache...so I've passed on that many times here and anywhere else. With limited restaurants open and offering takeout, we ordered from Taste for curbside pick up. In observance of Earth Day, the Penne Cecca with added extra extra garlic, parsley, olive oil salt and freshly grounded black pepper and toasted pine nuts was perfect and satiating. It's a dish that can be modified with added proteins or sans protein to honor green earth day. This pasta was simple and delish...in fact can be easily prepared with less than 5 ingredients, but not such a wow dish by any means. Prior years, this was one of the restaurants to frequent, as its on Melrose Pl's side street Some areas of Melrose is too grungy and punk rockish messy for my preference. This side of Melrose has lots of chic posh designer shops for apparel and home. Monique Lhuillier is a designer friend and her shop in across the street. And steps away are other stylish restaurants like Fig and Olive. About 4 years ago, there was a case of reported food poisoning from diners who had eaten from the restaurants on this street. Until this day, the exact source was not identified. Possibly from a food supplier, but remains unsolved. After learning of that food poisoning issue, I avoided all the restaurants on this side of town. Perhaps, during the COVID pandemic one should continue avoiding certain restaurants and live life as an isolationist! Highly unlikely, I'm far from living life as an isolationist, and more importantly, was really craving this Penne Cecca, (dry, no sauce penne pasta). So glad Taste was open for takeout and was not far from SLS Luxury Hotel. This pasta dish was delish and I highly recommend. This dish is probably easy to prepare yourself, germ free, COVID free. However, I ordered takeout since I try not to eat fast food, and I wanted to support local restaurants and celebrate Earth Day. Peace!

On Easter Sunday I ordered Easter dinner for Four. The two Salmon, Filet, Pork chop dinners were truly the BEST!!!! I will be ordering more often. From order to delivery (Grubhub) everything went great. Thank you. Todd

We had such a pleasant take out Easter dinner experience! The order was ready on time, the food was hot, and all items were delicious. The staff was particularly friendly and accommodating during this difficult time. Taste exceeded all expectations and included delicious Easter treats. Can't wait to order again!

Stopped by here to pre-game before a dinner reservation. The bar is in the back and I got there during happy hour. Their house spirits were 7 bucks and I asked what their house whiskey was, Jack Daniel's. For 7 bucks? sure why not, neat please. Our bartender was nice, he definitely made some good recommendations that helped narrow down some of the HH cocktails. Since we were having dinner elsewhere we just had a couple drinks and moved on. I thought it was great for a quick drink or two and the sangria was a big hit with the group. Definitely a place to circle back to.
