The menu they have is NOT the one they advertise… overpriced bar food, if i wanted chicken tenders I would go to Popeyes, SERIOUSLY the French menu looked perfect Valentine’s Day, this is an over glorified bowling alley.

My wife and I arrived at Harlowe after having driven 3 hours to LA from another county in California. Needless to say, we were looking forward to trying the oysters by the half shell. Now to give you context, we've tried oysters all throughout California, from the Bay Area all the way down the coast. I'm honestly only giving this a 2 stars for the way we were greeted awkwardly by the hostess (not sure if she was high or something but she was laughing with another coworker and laughed at us? I'm not really sure). After we were seated, we ordered our oysters for a total of 40$ on the half shell. Firstly, it was really hard to eat most of them because whoever shucked these oysters got sand into most of them. Chunks of sandy oysters and when they arrived they never even gave us the appropriate utensils that oysters usually come with, which should be smaller as all the sauces are in smaller containers. Our waitress also was acting super awkward with us and seemed almost hassled for having to check in on us, which she did hastily one time...in any case, my wife and I used to both work in the food industry and know how tough it can be some days, especially when it's super busy with customers, but it wasn't busy at all that day. All I'm saying is a little kindness and being genuine can go a long way. The 2 stars is for the decor but other than that, can't say it was the best experience we've had.

Always warm & cozy turning hip club atmosphere after dark. Perfect for a meet up for happy hour or the gang after hours. Good food, great drinks.. good service. Great atmosphere.

I've been here a few times over the years always for happy hour. It's a beautiful place with antiques and old photos all over the place. Service is friendly and good. The libations are tasty. This last time got fries and crispy string beans as well. The string beans are really tasty. You don't get a huge amount for $9 but they sure are flavorful. It gets lively here and they have a bit of a dance floor. Personally I feel like they tend to play their music a hair too loud cause I find it hard to hear others when it's loud but maybe I'm just getting cranky and older.

Harlowe is a perfect restaurant for a date night. Has a great ambiance and the service was great. All the foods and drinks we ordered were delicious, fresh, and tasty. I highly recommend this place. Keep in mind after 10 pm the restaurant turns into a nightclub so if you wanna enjoy your food come early.

Chill, Old Hollywood style with excellent food. We had the chicken and salmon. Both were excellent.

Amazing first time experience. Amazing date night with above & beyond fantastic customer service by our server Sean along with really drinks made by AJ & Alex as well as the friendly and quick busser Gelberth. Definitely will be returning plenty of more times with friends & family. As well as highly recommend for any occasion. This place is definitely my vibe, lowlights, music & a good hang. Just might have cracked my top LA spots for hangs.

The security person by the name of Lashawnda Cyiark took money from me promising a birthday song. Didn't play it and didn't offer it back to me. I talked to said security guard outside the club outside away from the music. Even after claiming themselves for not playing the specified song, did not give me the money back. Claimed I was disrespectful asking for money back. Then had the audacity to ask for an additional $100 to play the song while their shift was outside. They had no communication with the DJ at the time. Crooked staff.

Empty on a Saturday Night. No vibe. Food was airport takeout quality. Service was really good however. Would not come back.

Harlowe is a restaurant that turns into a bar/ club at night! I came for dinner with a few friends and the food was super good. The BONE MARROW, and BEEF TARTARE were delicious. For main course I had the DUCK. ENJOY!It's valet parking, not cheap and it's also very hard to find street parking.

Harlowe turned into a fun night out with friends for us. A bunch of us had gotten together after many years without seeing each other. This restaurant/bar/club was the perfect setting for an epic night. The drinks and the service were absolutely awesome!

This was a place that I had never been to before. Just lucked out by choosing it on yelp. What a wonderful find! The food was wonderful, service was great and the ambiance was so lovely. The couple we were with felt the same way. The prices were so reasonable. Great value. I highly recommend this place.

Harlowe which is moderately expensive was a disappointment. I looked at the menu online and when I looked at the printout menu at the restaurant they were very limited. I had already picked out what I wanted and that was not on the menu. However the dish I ordered was tasty and well presented. The atmosphere outdoors was not very attractive however, our waitress was most pleasant. For a neighborhood restaurant it was OK but not for a special romantic dinner.

Have always loved this place as a bar, but the menu's makeover was fun to experience last night. Some really great food on the menu - not a ton that's easily shared, though. We ordered three appetizers with our drinks, and they were all pretty small. The beet salad was a highlight, and more substantial than the shrimp or the polenta. My cocktail was STRONG, and tasty. I recommend doing just drinks OR doing a full dinner here. But if you do the latter, prepare to pay quite a bit.

I HAD NO IDEA I WAS IN FOR SUCH A GOOD DINNER ON AN AVERAGE TUESDAY NIGHTPROS------THE FOOD: I can't believe I don't come here more often, every dish was incredible!! Apps were the roasted beets & grilled shrimp, main was the fettuccine alfredo, dessert was the crème brûlée. I haven't had this good of a fettuccine alfredo at a restaurant in years. And the beet salad was a magical surprise of deliciousnessTHE STAFF: They were not only super on top of their game and helpful, but also so incredibly warm and friendlyATMOSPHERE: Great vibes, cool decor, prime locationCONS-------Nothing!
