I got the tri tip French dip sandwich, an order of French fries, and an iced latte, which came out to almost $28! The sandwich was kid-sized, as was the portion of fries. Don't get me wrong; everything was DELICIOUS, but the food was overpriced for the portion size.

I went to this cafe yesterday and ordered a deluxe cheese burger, breakfast burrito, an iced chai, and a loaf of blueberry bread, all to go. Spent $40 and some change, not counting the tip. The only other customer came in while I waited for my order. So the cafe is cute, the chai was good, and the blueberry loaf good. However, the cheeseburger and burrito were terrible. The " deluxe" burger was equivalent to a child's cheeseburger from McDonald's with a slightly bigger unseasoned (previously frozen) meat patty. My burger had no onion, lettuce or tomatoes, and was very dry. At least McDonald's adds rehydrated onions! The breakfast burrito was dry and flavorless, with the exception of the inclusion of fresh peppers and some chopped tomato. I paid for extra cheese and it looked like they just used one slice of cheese. The eggs were an overcooked slab of scramble, the potatoes were dry chunks that tasted like frozen unseasoned potatoes, and the sausage patty also tasted like an old frozen patty they cut in half and added to the burrito. Nothing was cooked together, just added to a tortilla. This was probably the worst burrito I have ever had. I ended up throwing it away after a few bites. Very disappointing. Maybe the owners should stick to drinks and pastries.

Lenise's is one of my favorite spots here in West Sac I love the ambiance, the excellent service, and the fresh foods.

I really, really wanted to like this place because I would’ve loved to support a local business but…I can’t. I’ve come in three times, each time hoping I’ll be proven wrong but the food just isn’t good. They don’t seem to have a kitchen so I’m not exactly sure how they’re preparing their food. The food is ready way too quickly to be fresh. The quality of the food is not good and neither are the flavors. The staff has always been polite when I’ve gone so there is that. This last time marks my last visit. This time I opted to try the tri tip mac and cheese and wow it was a nightmare. The meat was gross and somehow even the mac and cheese (the easiest thing to make) was an immense disappointment. It tasted gluey and like it had come from a box. I would’ve been better off going to Nugget and having their mac and cheese. Not sure how they have such a high star rating, to be honest.

Place doesn’t have a kitchen. They have every cooking utility known (insta pot, Panini grill, crepes griddle and so on. So the play is smoked out on cooking fumes. Hard to breath and now i just realized no smoke alarm because it would’ve gone off and never stopped. I sincerely appreciate the effort but probably wont go back till summer and sit outside. They need a hood range!

A local favorite that I've been meaning to try for some time now. The coffee was really really good and well prepped. The burrito and bagel were on the dry side and just ok. Nothing to rave about really. Not bad, but not good. The crowd at the time which is no fault to the restaurant didn't make me feel welcomed. Sometimes that happens in this used to be small town. The locals get a little snobby but the newer generation is very welcoming My main issue with the burrito is that everything seemed like a separate bite. One bite of a big raw tomato, then one bite of a lightly cooked spinach, then one bite of potato. It didn't appear to be intermingled. Anyways, I'll give it another try but I just won't be rushing back.

Tables were all unbalanced, they gave me dry toast and I had a PIT in my olive omelette and almost chipped a tooth and the food wasn't even not even a bit busy Sunday morning ?

I have been here more than a handful of times...mainly breakfast and brunch times. Such a cute spot and they host a variety of fun events too like live music, karaoke, etc. Still haven't made it to one, but hope to someday. This particular day I stopped in after getting a mani next door at Tina's Hair and Nail salon (yes I gave them another shot). I was starving so ordered a bacon breakfast burrito and subbed in Cheddar cheese and also added potatoes per the suggestion of the cashier. It did not disappoint! Their breakfast burrito is also extra healthy with the addition of spinach, bell pepper, and fresh tomato. It was a nice, fresh surprise. I should note that this is an order at the counter then grab a number and seat yourself inside or outside then they bring the food to you. There is a line at times and they get kind of busy, but not too much to scare me away. I ordered a large honey Latte. I asked for nonfat milk but they only had 2%...that's ok- just a splurge day for me. Love this spot and service is pretty great. Look forward to checking out an event/happy hour sometime.

Terrible service. The poor lady at the register had no clue how to ring anything up first of all and you could tell they were all just kind of running around. Nobody had any clue on what was going on, obvious their team needed training. I ordered the Greek omelette which was to have Kalamata olives, feta and tomato. When it came out I noticed there were black olives all over it. I asked the waitress, is this the Greek omelet and she replied, yes. I then said, but those are not kalamata olives to which she replied, well that's all we had. Why wouldn't they tell the customer you were out before serving it? Maybe they thought I wouldn't notice idk but anyway I will not be going back.

The owner of this place needs to get rid of the two young ladies that work the evenings or she needs to be there monitoring them. The food they serve is terrible and they simply don't care either. Hamburger was tough and tasted awful with no lettuce on it and the French fries were raw and not cooked enough. I had to throw my food away. The sandwich they gave me with the bread ends and left off the mayonnaise. The last time I picked up an order to go. The lettuce in the salad was old not even edible, again I threw it away. Next time I will post photos. The owner needs to do better with the people she has working there.
