Food was ok nothing that would make me want to come back soon. Food was not hot Luke warm and wasn't changed out or attended to. Mango ice cream was good, that was the best part of my 18+ dollars spent.

Great food, you gotta try the garbanzo beans, lamb, & goat. Chicken, naan, and the mango ice cream are always good.
The lunch buffet here is by far the best I've had in Sacramento, others don't come close in terms of variety and flavor.Properly good Indian food, well worth driving across town.

A solid spot for lunch in West Sacramento. Good variety of vegetarian and meat dishes on the lunch buffet. The biryani is alway good, butter chicken is a staple and always pleases, and the goat curry is fantastic. I also like the chai on tap and the mango ice cream.
One of our go to places in West Sac! The fish curry & garlic naan are must trys. Love ordering from here every now and then.

I think most people probably come for their buffet which is quite good and has a good variety of items. All the items I had were tasty. Tea was included in the buffet and I was pleasantly surprised. The mango ice soft serve looked good but lacked any mango flavor. Would go back.

Food was delicious and service was great. I ordered our dinner and it was served quickly. Best Indian food yet great service definitely high recommended.
AVOID THIS PLACE! Absolutely horrible service! Very rude both of the waiters. She wanted to take the plate which I was eating out of. I had to practically fight to keep it. Food was bland and not tasty at all. Flies were buzzing all over the plates. Found three pieces of hair in my curry.

First time back after Covid and was sad to learn the place had changed ownership. They still had desserts and a salad bar. The familiar dishes were still on the buffet. However, the taste isn’t how I remembered it to be. A little bit bland. Also, their mango ice cream, an old time favorite tasted more of cream than mango. They still provide naan on the side but this time, we only got 2 pieces of naan( 1/2 of a naan each). Staff looked angry and not at all attentive. In the past, if we ran out of naan, the kind lady would ask if we needed more naan. I won’t return.

Been coming to Pooja for over 15+ years. Overall probably one of the best lunch buffets in the Sacramento region. Excellent selection & variety. So, the pandemic did cause the buffet to go away for quite a while. Happy to say the buffet is back in full force now. Enjoy!
