We frequent Farfalla Trattoria Westlake regularly for lunch and dinner. Never disappointed. Numerous great regular dishes and their specials are top notch. So good. Service is always excellent and staff is very knowledgeable. ????

Everything had an off putting taste, unlike the fresh and simple flavors you'd expect from Italian. Also, the mozzarella in my pasta dish was still cold, watery, and flavorless.

I have been here previously with fine experiences, and I just strongly prefer several other Italian restaurants locally. The food was mixed: gnocchi was tasty, carpaccio was very good, but I was disappointed in my penne norma and the other entrees. Next time, we will try their cheese appetizers and pizza since that looked very good from other tables. Our most recent experience left a lot to be desired from the waiters at a restaurant that appears to want to provide an upscale dining experience based on their atmosphere and pricing. It was quite annoying to have our bill dropped off with additional charges from another table and a credit with no explanation. Then to have the pre-discount charge billed to our table and the 2 cards for our group split unevenly ($50 difference), again dropped at the table with no explanation. I went to our waiter, who appeared to be busy at the computer, to get the overcharges voided, only to find him scrolling on a phone. We will give them another shot during their 40% happy hour to justify the quality of food and service.

Came in at 3:45p and sat at the bar, super nice bartender, let me order off the dinner menu which didn't technically start until 4, so was happy. Ordered the Stracciatella (sp?) From the mozzarella bar which is grilled ciabatta topped with Fig spread, burrata, and Prosciutto that they formed into roses. Everything was beautiful and delicious ? A new favorite spot!

Farfalla Trattoria. Where do I start? This is not simply a restaurant. To call it that would be to trivialize the experience. Farfalla is true epicurean ecstasy. Every dish is prepared exquisitely and with pride. The flavor combinations and sensations are unmatched at any restaurant within hundreds of miles. Perhaps thousands. One may need to travel to Italy to find cuisine nearly comprarable! My wife and I have been fortunate to dine here on many occasions and we have always been completely satisfied with the food, the drink and the exceptional service. If there was one word I would choose to describe Farfall Trattoria? Impeccable.
