**disclaimer - I ordered food togo** So this past weekend, we had a bit too much fun the night before. The boyfriend needed some food so I called Cafe Westminster and ordered a meal togo! The lady on the other end was super nice and I ordered the following items: 1. Breakfast Burrito (sausage - but they have other options) 2. Hobo Omelette (this has bacon, sausage, mushrooms & tomatoes, come with toast or pancakes and I ordered the pancakes) 3. French Toast Yes, I ordered 3 entrees or items for 2 people. Anyway, I drove over to pick up the food. Going to be honest, getting into the parking lot is a bit hard. Caltrans is doing so much construction on the street and it's super close to the freeway. Anyway, the parking lot itself is also a bit confusing and hard to navigate. But after parking, I walked in and the restaurant was pretty packed. The staff was busy but when my order was ready, I paid and left. The food itself was decent. Maybe it tastes different when you eat in the restaurant. Overall it was a decent experience and if I wanted diner food i think I would consider going again.

Very good Breakfast for $11 (not including tax). Nothing on this visit was greasy, but had good flavor. My only gripe was the sourdough toast was not that good, should have gone with pancakes instead. I do recommend eating here though as great service and good food

I've been staying in the area for a few days now and I've literally eaten here four times already. Twice in the morning and twice in the evening. The service is impeccable and the food is delicious! No matter what you get, from coffee to eggs, French toast or salad, it's fresh and made to order so I'm SOLD on this cafe and it's lovely service from the staff and the amazing food from the cooks and who ever offers up that to DIE for cheesecake...well, props to you! Job well done! Thank you again! We will always be a cafe customer at heart!

Found this spot while driving around Westminster looking for a place to eat. It was a bit run down but my friend and I didn't let that stop us from wanting to eat there. Walking in we were immediately greeted and seated. It was late and we were in the mood for breakfast. My friend ordered the an all American scramble which included eggs, sausage, bacon, and toast. I ordered a short stack of pancakes which were really tasty. Really great place that we continue to visit from time to time.

Don't believe these 4 star reviews like we did ! The food was either as hard as rock (waffle) Home style potatoes ( not even cooked potatoes and onion either raw or microwaved ) Pancake (tasted like pancake mix ) Fries (had no flavor ) And to top it off the table next to us had a lady coughing so loud and a lot and when they left we asked the waitress for ketchup she just went to their table didn't even wipe the ketchup bottle down and handed to us . That was seriously disgusting . And the food was nasty .

We came from out of town with my husband and two kids. I like that you can sit anywhere you want. They were very friendly upon arrival. I got the cafe breakfast which was really good! My husband got the chorizo plate that he actually ended up finishing. (He’s a picky eater, so am I) we all ate our food. The girls got the dollar pancake on the kids meal and they liked it. It’s a family owned restaurant and the prices were good. Would definitely come here again. Our waiter was very Nice and got us everything we needed. Thank you!

Had breakfast at Cafe Westminster. It's a cute restaurant. The food was good, service was excellent. The prices weren't too bad. I highly recommend. Very conviniently located. The food was delish.

Stopped in for an early dinner while staying in the Motel 6 next door. We started off with stuffed mushrooms which were delicious and the highlight of our dinner. I had the Meatloaf dinner (13.55) with mashed potatoes, brown gravy, corn on the cobb, and Clam Chowder. My wife had the Hot Pastrami Sandwich ($10.75) with Onion Rings, plus add-ons onions and cheese and a special Hot Brownie Ala Mode for dessert. My wife Hot Pastrami was delicious and the Onion Rings were great and cooked perfectly. Our Hot Brownie Ala Mode was large enough to share and delicious as well. My dinner, however, was disappointing. The meatloaf was bland, the mashed potatoes were instant, and the corn on the Cobb was over cooked (surprising, since we arrived at 4:00pm). The Clam Chowder was quite different from the usual. It was very distinctively corn flavored. In fact, I would call it Corn Chowder with Claims. It was okay, since I do love corn, but if you don't, go for the salad instead. The menu looks very good breakfast (served all day) and lunch for sandwiches and burgers. We plan to return for breakfast in the morning and trying it out again. Overall, minus my dinner, it was good, but beware when ordering off the Main Course dinner menu. Other than that I would recommend the Cafe Westminister. It easy to access off the I-405 @ Westminister Ave.
