It's sad that this place is now closed it was a beautiful restaurant inside. We have some great memories from this place. Back in the day Sunday brunch was great, but again for whatever reason it went downhill. Same as the Cypress El Torito.

I'm not a huge fan of "chain" restaurants but we had an incredible lunch here today! The chicken tortilla soup was the best and the fajitas were excellent. Our waitress ALMA was super friendly, very attentive, and provided excellent service!!! So much so that I asked about happy hour planning a trip back. I found out that this location is closing in early May 2024. I was disappointed. Someone hire this woman... she will be an asset to your restaurant!

I went to the Westminster El Torito on March 27 to get lunch, i had to get takeout because my wife wasn't able to leave the house. I ordered two boritios which are her favorite item on the lunch menu. After i got home we took them out of the box to plate. The rice and beans were as expected but the 2 boritios were terrible. They looked like they had been premade and sitting in their kitchen for hours. They were dry and hard, broken into pieces, with about a teaspoon of chicken , and about a tablespoon of sauce in/on each one. They were so below par that we ate the beans and rice and made a couple of quesadillas with what we already had in our refrigerator. It was complete waste of our money and time. After i ordered I noticed that i would be able to order additional items for $3.00 each but when i told the person that i ordered from she told me that she had already put in my order and was not able to add the extra items. In addition to the poor quality If there is a next time i think i open the box and check the food before i leave.
Alma is the best! She made our experience a memorable one. She checked on us the whole time and took the time to get to know us. Food was great and the place was clean. I will definitely go again and I hope Alma is there so we can chat with her!!!

It has been over a decade since I have had brunch at El Torito, and I only came because it's one of the places my mom enjoys going to. The place itself is cute on the inside, but the food is just ok. However, our waitress Alma made up for the mundane food. She was so sweet and friendly and really made our experience wonderful. The service was amazing thanks to her. We will definitely come back just to have a good chat with her again!!!!

We had Roberto as our server today and even though we were a large group he was so attentive to us. We came for Sunday brunch and he made sure our mimosas were never empty and was constantly checking on us. He overheard us talking about it being our friends birthday and he made it so special for them. He told us this location was closing soon and we were so sad but will definitely be coming back as much as possible before they do. Thank you Roberto and El Torito!
