I won't be buying pate chauds here anymore. For $1.75 with tiny piece of meat and all puff pastry skin, this is pretty expensive. Pate chauds is not the only item like this; bánh bao and chả giò have the same fate

I think I only come here for their pate chauds; have tried pork and chicken pate chauds. My favorite is their chicken ones. The crispy skin is just perfect portion and the meat filling are just right compare to other places where the meat portion is the same size as Gala's while their outside is 3x in size (price is 2 1/2 due to its size). Got bánh bao and chả giò...that I shouldn't get. Bánh bao was very bad; so much plain dough. Usually people would make the dough with milk, eggs and some sugar if they're fancy or just water, eggs and sugar. The dough for my bánh bao was flavorless, tiny piece of meat in the middle (half the size of pate chaud). The whole thing was extremely light when I picked it up. Totally thought I bought dough without meat bánh bao. The chả giò was a bit better; flavorful tiny piece of meat surrounded by a lot of crunchy skin. When I bite into it, all I could feel and taste were the crunchy skin....

Love the daughter of the owner. They are all sweet as their milk coffee.

This is a grab-and-go type of place with some baked goods and coffee. Service is nothing special but standard in the Little Saigon central area (which people who aren't used to it may call "rude service"). It's a true family-run business, as I usually see the same few faces of relatives cycling at the front counter. My family comes here often to pick up Vietnamese coffee, and it takes just 1-2 minutes to order, pay, and leave. The coffee is nice and strong such that it's perfect when the ice melts, and the drink isn't watered down until a few hours later. I can't vouch for any of the other stuff here, but the Viet coffee itself is some of the best in OC. $4 for one cup in 2023??? For a strong, well-rounded, not too sweet (in my opinion), and addictive flavor? So worth it.

One of my favorite spots in Little Saigon. They have limited items on the menu. But they excel in making the best tasting Pate Chaud Ga (puff pastry with chicken filling).

I've had gala bakery before and the coffee and pate chaud (esp the pork) is absolutely amazing!!! Whenever I'm in the area I always try to make a stop here, but it's always either closed or I don't have cash on me this time I finally made it before 3PM but only had my emergency car cash on me so I only had $6 on hand and had to make this trip worth it. I was able to order a few chicken pate chauds and my day was instantly made! My only regret was not carrying enough cash to also get a cafe sua da and pork pate chaud definitely coming back to try their croissants and baos!Recommend: cafe sua da, pork pate chaud *Chicken is also good, but pork is superior

The vietnamese coffee is good. It's sweet and creamy. The coffee itself though, has an aftertaste of something that I can't pinpoint, either overroasted beans or dirty filter. But it's all good.Don't sleep on the mungbean drink. It's surprisingly good. It's creamy and sweet and has bits of mungbean. Yum. The color is so green though, it's kinda disturbing, so just don't look at it.We also got chicken pate chaud. It's flaky and the chicken ball is green-oniony-fragrant. Nothing too special but a nice snack for 2 buck. The lady is not very helpful and borderline kinda rude. But it's a quick in n out and order by the window, so you won't have to deal with her for long. Cash only.

$1.75 for chicken pate chaud. Coffee is very strong and very good. Will be coming back for that. The chicken pate chaud was dry and should've used some more meat tbh. It was under a burner. It tasted like it's been under the burner for a while. There was no line and had to wait 5 min for someone to finally come and take my order. It took 10 min after to get my order. It was Saturday afternoon so I was surprised it was dead. Will come back to try the chicken pate chaud again.

The pork chaud was big BUT barely had any meat filling. I'd rather have a smaller pork chaud with a decent amount of meat filling. The pastry was also kind of hard and dry.

One of the best places for Vietnamese Coffee (cafe sua da) in the Little Saigon area. Not too sweet, not too strong and just the perfect amount of ice! I've also tried their pate chaud before too and those are great as well! Honorable Mentions: -Cash only -Good amount of parking available

Great pate chaud and Vietnamese coffee! The coffee doesn't have too much ice, has great flavor without being too sweet, has a small bit of bitterness, and pairs super well with their chicken/pork pate chaud. I couldn't decide which one to get so I got both and both were really great. Both super juicy and flakey, honestly one of the better pate chaud I've had. It's cash only of course and the parking situation and the actual location can be confusing but it's not in the plaza on the corner but behind the plaza in a building directly facing the smaller street. Will definitely come here whenever a pate chaud craving hits and the coffee is a must as well.

Gala I believe has the best cafe Sua da or Vietnamese iced coffee in Westminster. They have a great business focused on their coffee. I get their half gallon to go when I’m there and it costs $28, kudos to them for being able to charge this. It’s a reminder if you do something great, you are welcome to charge for it and people will come if you are consistent.

My mom claims to know where to get good coffee. So we put her to the test and she was not lying. Gala has some solid vietnamese coffee that is strong like it's nobody's business. Ordering was fast and easy at their little window. The coffee was so strong, I had to wait till the ice melted to have a caffeine ratio perfect for me. My sister and I had to share it because I am not usually a coffee drinker.

This place without a doubt became my number one stop for my morning coffee. I tried a lot of places that serve Vietnamese coffee and gala win all the time.
