I used to go to my favorite Taiwanese restaurant called "tasty garden" located here, unfortunately it closed down during the Covid lockdown, thanks a lot GN. Imagine my shock when I found out it morphed into Ghien Mi Go after a long time of being vacant. The review was better when they had Bun bo hue but it had since been deleted out of the menu, I was told to go to Ghien Bun Bo a few blocks down from this branch. They had remodeled and the decoration and paintings were really breathtaking. I love the cyclo at the entrance w stuffed animals. I looked at the menu and was in disbelief, how could this huge restaurant only have 3 items, wonton soup, Hainan chicken $19.50 and shaken beef. They will regret deleting the Bun Bo Hue, I had my heart set on this soup but I was tired and did not want to go to the sister restaurant, that was a mistake as the wonton soup was nothing special. In my experience with wonton soup only the Chinese and specifically the Cantonese cuisine, know how to make an excellent wonton soup. Last year I went to Hong Kong to eat wonton soup every day!!! The soup was very generous w shrimp, pork, dry shrimp and crunchy bacon bits. The broth however was bland, I tried to fix it at home but I wish I knew the secret ingredients the Chinese used, the pork was tasteless, in Saigon, they put Char siu not boiled pork. I ordered pork bones , it was only $5 for such a generous portion. I loved the cartilage and the meat just fell off the bone. I wish them good luck but I'm afraid w so few choices, how can a family dine in here, my kids used to like different food, 1 is a vegan, people have different taste buds, perhaps that was the reason the restaurant was empty and it was 6:30PM prime time for dinner. I missed Tasty Garden wonton soup but I would like to give it another chance w the Hainan chicken and hope to give them an additional star.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED GUYS! THIS PLACE IS A MUST GO FOR NOODLES!Me and my friend came to LA for a vacation trip and found this place, and we absolutely loveeeee this place. The noodles (mi thap cam) were good, taste like authentic Viet flavor, lots of toppings, flavorful broth, and the staffs was super friendly!Only have chance to come for once a while cuz we live in different state ☹️ But will come back!!!

I've been eating noodle here since 2020, there hu tieu mi go is the best. They have a special chili sauce that make the dry noodle taste amazing. I've tried other hu tieu from other restaurants but this place still my priority. Inside always look nice, the owner decorated the space with a lot of flowers even in the restroom.

By far the best chicken rice also known as com ga hai nam in town!! I can just eat the rice alone because it's so flavorful. Excellent service which I usually don't expect or get at an Asian restaurant. LOL. Restaurant is clean and so the bathroom. You can tell a lot about the restaurant's standards of cleanliness by looking at their bathrooms. I learned that from the great chef Anthony Bourdain. :)

My go-to my kho place! Line can get long on the weekends (30 minutes). On the weekdays, you can pretty much get seated right away. I love their sate sauce, which is flavorful and has a kick of spice. My brother loves their hu tieu soup special & wontons. Very clean and attentive staff. Food and drinks come out very fast here.

If you don't know where to eat traditional Vietnamese noodles , this is a best place to try it. I have ordered number 5 " Hu Tieu Thap Cam" which means Rice Noodles with Combination of toppings. The toppings was kinda fresh not be overcooked, and the broth tasted better than other places. We also ordered one portion of stew pork bone and that's just a superb big. The server was so nice sometimes came to my table to ask "Do u need anything else? I felt comfortable when I ate right here. Highly recommend 10/10

Mixed noodle soup dish (#5 on menu). Good soup. Most impressive are the pieces of meat, liver, tripe and that, cut thin enough and very large. Quail eggs are also delicious. Many fat tops, I don't like fat tops but here I don't see snoring. Royal shrimp placed in a bowl of noodles, also delicious and strange taste. Also impressive is the jar of pickled garlic and chili, which is very delicious and crunchy. The owner's way of visiting customers is very impressive and cute. The service staff is quick and enthusiastic (seeing them work makes me wonder why I'm so lazy ?)Overall, this shop is worth coming back to. Those who haven't tried it yet, come try it once, it's worth it!

My favorite place to go for Com Ga (Chicken and rice)! Comes with ginger dip, fish sauce dip and soup. Love the pickled vegies on the side too. Service is friendly. Looks clean all around and well lit. Parking is up front and spacious. Highly recommended!
