Wassup Wasabi? My sis suggest this to meet near my workplace so that's a plus. Got all the elements to make this place super chill...except the grub is so-so. Decor & service's relaxing but the attention should also be focused on the food quality, as other Yelpers already attested. Still, not a bad experience but not a blown-away one either. At least it's not another Pho place that is over-saturated in our beloved Little Saigon.

Hate to do this to one of my kind.... The cool thing was the sushi chef was from Japan... I think that was the only cool thing..... The menu was short....too short for a Japanese restaurant..... Let me first complain about the miso soup. Miso soup is sooooooooo cheap to make, but they want to charge $2 a bowl. What a fcking rip!!! I was stupid enough to buy.... I know I'm retarded.... ohhh well... After the soup I had seared tuna, this was excellent!!! Had some green stuff sprinkled on it and a splash of ponzu... Next had some tuna and salmon sushi. This guy told me he had been doing it for 7 years but seemed more like it was his first year. I probably could have counted the rice that was with the sushi. For real it was probably the size of a whopper... No not the BK whopper but the chocolate!!!!!! The fish tasted good but I want more rice to it damn it!!!!! After that disappointment I had some roll i don't remember the name of. Had some kind of crab meat on the inside and fish on the outside with ponzu poured over the top and fried sprinkle thing... That was good!!!! The last thing I had was a tiger roll, it was a California roll with shrimp on the outside. It was okay..... The service was great because i was the only one in that place.... My stomach was hurting after I ate there... uummm i wonder how fresh that fish was........ It was borderline okay so I'm not going back..... Damn I gotta number 1 outta my butt now.....

Lovely atmosphere...tidy and cozy..hard to find a restaurant like this especially in little saigon. My favorite dish is the baked lobster...so tasty and mixed with just the right ingredients.. I also liked the jalapeno bombshell.. its a strange combination but it tastes pretty good. Best thing is that it's very affordable and you get 10% discount during happy hours too!

Driving around contemplating what we wanted to eat besides pho, we stumbled upon this very cozy Japanese restuarnant in the heart of Little Saigon. There was about 10-12 small dining tables and a sushi bar that seats about 8-10 people. We had quite a variety of sashimi, their giant sea scallops were by far my favorite!! I have been eating sushi and sashimi for quite sometime time now and having worked in sushi bars throughout college, one main reason why I gave this restaurant 3 stars was the thickness in the cuts of sashimi. I personally prefer thin slices. Other than that, sashimi quality was pretty good, better than I expected. Whenever I go to sushi bars I always have to try their seafood salad and I must say their dressing on the salad was excellent!!! It had a great smokey flavor with a bit of a kick. One thing I really enjoyed was that masago was added to the dressing which gave it a very interesting but wonderfully taste. One last thing, they have happy hour between 2-5pm, 20% off everything!!!
