This place is one of my favorites! Affordable pricing, large portions and the staff members are constantly helpful.

Came in and ordered 2.44lbs of bbq pork belly chopped for $29 after tax. Comes out to about $11.89/lb Friendly staff, quick service in and out for a Saturday 4pm. Pork was soft and the skin was crunchy. They gave sauce with it. The pork could use a bit more 5 spice or flavor but it was good.

They now have discounted chicken Pho on the weekends , Sat and Sun. It's like $5 a bowl of chicken Pho, and it's really good.

Good place for roasted duck

Great customer service, very friendly and light hearted staff. Willing to help customers understand the different meats and cuts. Price is great, cheaper than Lien Hoa next door. Meat quality is much better and the chef cuts more precisely (less bone shards) than most places. Pork is tender, moist yet the skin stays crispy - definitely took their time to roast each piece with care. Support smaller and newer business like this - they will treat you right and you'll feel good about the money you spend.

The worst Chinese BBQ restaurant ever. The Vietnamese ppl run a Kan-Dong BBQ is totally wrong. Worst BBQ pork!!! Never come again.

The worst roast pork I've ever had. Went in and ordered 2 pounds of roast pork - the belly section. There was a very nice pig hanging in the window done right with a lot of belly left. Owner told me to go take a walk maybe go to the bakery and he would cut up my pork which I found a little bit weird because it doesn't take that long. Decided to let my dogs out to take a walk real quick. When I came back he had everything ready to go - it $21 I gave him a couple dollar tip. When I got back home to Huntington Beach I opened up the container and it was all burnt skin and at least 2/3 of it was fat. Very tricky owner who took advantage of me. I would give him 0 stars if I could. GO TO LIEN HO BBQ right next store - nice honest family!!

Now I'm kinda mad at the health department for not doing their job. I normally do not like to write bad reviews, but I gave this place a few tries. My first time was amazing, and then it went all down hill from there. Don't eat the vinegar, there are flies in it. The white Rice was dry, and they do have the marinated version which was delicious, but they only offered that my first time. I am not sure if they even serve that anymore. On my pork and rice dish, the cucumber was old and dry :(. And the pork was cold, and could be atleast heated. The second time I came here, i ordered cuts of pork and didn't notice till later that the cuts I wanted, the worker didn't cut for me, and gave me an entirely different area of the pork cuts I wanted. This I did not understand, but now reading other ppls reviews from here, I am not the only one. I have tried their wonton soup here, and THAT was decent. It came out hot, and it was good. I wish I was able to use the condiments though, but no flies for me pls. -_- Now the main trigger for me on writing this yelp review, was the friedd pork fats in the jars used as a condiment....this is my favorite, and after today wanting to put that on my dry rice, they were SO STALE I had to spit it out. I was so sad! From my first amazing experience, the next two times was horrible. Although, the service from the lady at the front was so nice to me. I just want them to fix this. Until then, I won't come back here until I see a GOOD RECENT REVIEW from someone else. Thanks again.

This is the worst roast pork I've ever had. When I went in they had a big piece pig hanging in the window with the skin perfectly done. I asked the owner for 2 pounds of pork belly. He told me maybe I wanna take a walk to the bakery while he cuts it up which I found very strange but I did need something at the bakery. When I came back I had everything in a bag and tied up and charge me $21. When I came home I opened it up and all the skin was burnt and it was about 2/3 fat. VERY TRICKY OWNER - TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME!! Do not eat here go to Lien Hoa barbecue right next door....... Very nice family honest and have very good barbecue.

Terrible service. Walked in up to the hot food counter to order. Was not acknowledged by any of the workers who stood a foot away from me. Left after 5 minutes of this nonsense. Never coming back thanks

Went to get a roast duck to try some new place. My usual place is lien hoa but gave it a chance. The ducks lacks flavor and this is coming from a Chinese vietnamese person. The service was nice enough but it ultimately comes down to food quality. The skin on the duck is not dark red as it suppose to be, when we got it it was cold and we didn't get to choose. Overall the place was clean service was ok but the duck was not good so therefore I don't recommend here if u want roast duck.

I was craving for some roast duck today so I thought I'd give this place a try. I ordered the 2 item rice plate with roasted duck and roasted pork. It was not good at all and I couldnt even finish my plate. First off, the rice they served me seem like it may have been leftover old rice that had been sitting around too long and got super hard and dry. Now, let's talk about the meat: The duck and the pork were cold, I guess it wasnt sitting under the heat lamp or anything before it was served, We all know that roasted duck and pork are quite fatty....So, can you imagine chewing on chunks of pure cold fat?... it wasnt very pleasant to say the least. The least they couldve done was heat up the meat before serving it. Only good thing about this place is they give you free herbal tea drink, But unfortunately that will not be enough for me to come back to this place again.

Great trieu chau style restaurant. I had a delicious bowl of wonton noodle soup here today. The char siu and wonton portions were generous and the wide rice noodles were so soft. My husband had an order of hu tieu nam vang and said it was really good too. Note it comes with thin pho noodles instead of the wide noodles. Add an order of Chinese donuts and you're golden.
