Had the #28 Hue Speciality sampler plate. It was fine, barely any meat, mostly all flour. The nuc mam was good, not salty.I'm not from the area, but we were charged for our cup of waters. Is that a normal thing in CA?

Very authentic, flavorful central Vietnamese food. Recommend the Bun Bo and Mi Quang. Ask for mild of you can't handle the heat. Party trays are well priced and food is good- egg rolls and shrimp rolls are really good.

3 stars I only ordered for pick up. I ordered the frozen Banh Loc La for $75 @ 100pcs. The service was efficient and easy. Unfortunately, once I tried them, I realized it wasn't quite as good as Kim Hoa's. So I was kinda bummed. There were dumplings that were just pure fat. Otherwise, taste was ok and nuoc mam was made correctly. Overall, would not purchase this particular item from them again.

This is one of my favorite spots in OC for authentic central Vietnamese food. I've enjoyed everything I've tried here. I usually get the banh bot loc, banh it ram, and cha oc. The banh it ram here is my favorite because the crunchy part underneath is so light yet crunchy. The cha oc uses a lot of lemongrass which I love. The mi quang is also very good. The broth is flavorful, and the pork is tender. The service is quick, and there's usually enough parking (in the plaza or in the side street right next to the store).

Great food, quick service. Called in 40mins ahead of time for an order of 30 egg rolls and 50 banana leaves wrapped steamed meat dumplings and the order was done when I arrived.

This place is known for catered food trays. We ordered a tray of the chả ốc (steamed escargot, ginger & lemongrass sausages at $1.25 each) to take up to San Jose for some friends. We also tried the shrimp egg roll at $1.25 each that was super delicious. The skin was extra crispy and the egg roll was very flavorful. We're definitely going to order more of those next time! They have all kinds of food that you could order like noodles, fried rice, spring rolls, etc.
Typical viet place but accepts credit card ;) Lady at cash register speaks English, for those of you whose Viet (like mine) isn't all that great What I Got: mi quang (only one size if it's to-go order), 50 banh bot loc frozen - mi quang was tasty; flavor was good but the meat in it tasted a little older/chewy. 4/5 - $12 - banh bot loc, I buy frozen to eat from time to time. (Steam for 13 min). Asked for a side of nuoc mam. They sell 100 for $70, so I asked to buy 50 for $35. 4.5/5; was hoping they'd be bigger because my mom used to get 100 for $28 before Covid in sac -- but nonetheless loved them! Would come back after I try other to-go places in the area

In ordered the "fried rice with salty fish" for my friend's party few times. After my friend tasted it, they said the item should be called "Cơm chiên cá lặn " ( "the sinking fish fried rice", No one can not find the fish any where ). Last week, I asked and paid $10 for extra fish. After tasted the rice, I still could not find the salty fish. In my opinion, the owner is greedy. They should call it the "fried rice" only. Received the extra money and did not provide the extra fish. I wouldn't come back to this restaurant from now on.

I do not often go to this area. I want to go for my husband. It is a family restaurant. I mean it is traditional Vietnamese style. It is good mount and delicious for $13.but the BBQ pork was too spicy for us.
