I think the big draw to this place is that it's owned and operated by the famous Vietnamese singer. You walk into what looks like a very eclectic and crowded living room, not a sandwich shop. All the decor was interesting and overwhelming to say the least. Even the menu looks busy with crowded colorful words on multiple dry erase boards. There were a lot of options to choose from, but I got the Banh Mi Dac Biet (Lynda Special). Ironically, the sandwich itself was a little underwhelming, nothing special about the bread. The sauce and pate spread were good but the amount of meat was kinda minimal and a little dry. The pickled daikon and carrots were crispy and juicy but the cilantro and cucumber didn't taste very fresh, unfortunately. Perhaps it was an off-day.

Lynda knows sandwiches! The bread is already nice and crunchy but soft inside. The fillings are just the right amount. And that special mayo is the kicker. Love the shredded chicken sandwich. The fried egg sandwich and their sea salt coffee!

I had breakfast at a famous Vietnamese singer's banh mi shop when I took a trip to Socal with my parents. The interior was decorated with famous Vietnamese artists that have been there. We had the Lynda's special banh mi dac biet and the xiumai. The Vietnamese coffee ca phe sua da was so good but so strong because I'm sensitive to caffeine. The owner herself is there sometimes which is cool! The service was quick and easy. I would definitely come back for their banh mi because it tastes unique to the place!

Banh mi dac biet $8, high price compared to other dishes ($6-6.50), nothing special

Call in and order ahead since this place can take a while to make your order. Known for their Banh Mi Dac Biet (House Special) and I recommend getting extra sauce.

The bread was decent, but the sandwich as a whole is terrible. They barely put any meat in it. I ordered the fish sandwich does not taste like fish at all. Is a thin slice of something(yikes). 1st time and will be last time.

Make sure you double check your sandwiches before you leave. Gave us the wrong order and knew that it was wrong when we came back. Take your business somewhere else.

Coming in, the interior is very well decorated and they have a very clean bathroom as well! I ordered the banh mi dac biet and I was a biiiit disappointed. For more than $7, the banh mi was lacking in meat, pate, and veggies. There was only like 4 strips of cilantro. The banh mi was pretty mediocre and I could not see or taste any pate, even though I know there was "some" because it was on my banh mi paper wrapping. It had a slight peppery taste, kind of like egg salad, and I thought that was interesting (although it wasn't necessarily unenjoyable). Kind service but I don't think I will be returning.

Ok Lynda good job on the bread and the sauce. Very good…but I will say the chicken is a little too sweet just a little but overall good sandwiches would eat again. ??

Incredible authentic Banh Mi. Usually you have to go to a mom and pop shop that a little dirty and loud to get authentic Asian food. But here you get the authenticity with a modern Asian environment. They have plenty of outdoor seating with nature and indoor seating as well. The bathroom is stunning, I didn’t think I would be mentioning it but it was actually one of the cleanest, best smelling bathrooms I’ve been in at a small restaurant; they even have lit candles and interior decor in there. Highly recommend for a good meal, good times, and most importantly of all; a good poop.Parking: Plenty of parking in the outdoor lot.
