Bun vit sao mang - located in a small plaza with plenty of parking. Cash only though but the portion is humungous! Lots of duck breast meat and bamboo and noodles. The restaurant itself was super clean. service was good i would definitely come back

This is the best Bun Vit Sao Mang in OC. The portion is generous. The flavors are good. Service is a little slow because it was only one lady. Truly mom and pop restaurant. I ordered the Vermicelli duck bamboo with the cabbage salad. This dish is not for everyone. If you like bamboo shoots, yes. Otherwise, the smell is a little pungent. It's just a simple restaurant, but it's hard to find this dish anywhere.

My husband wanted to try this place because he wanted vit thim, and they didn't have it. My kids and I are not big fans of vit. We went here anyways so he doesn't have to ask us every time when we drive by. Well, my 2 kids and I ordered rice and fried chicken. We waited for our food for over 40 mins for rice and chicken and saw an employee walking back from banh mi cali with 4 orders of rice and chicken. We got 2 orders of rice and chicken, and the other 2 went to another table. I asked what happened to the 3rd ordered, he wait let me go, checked, and came back to say they were all out of rice and chicken. Wow, their serves were horrible, and they didn't have much food to offer because they said they closed on Mondays. Yikes, the serves were no good, and the food was not even good, in my opinion. That's my first and last time there.

A word about ambiance. It's rather nice for an inexpensive Viet restaurant. Muted colors, some fake flowers but not overwhelmingly so. Can you take a date there? Yes I think. If you they would turn their nose up then maybe they are not a keeper anyway. Pro tip: if you order the Mi Vit Tiem, ask for a separate plate with knife and fork so you can take down that duck leg elegantly. Also some lime and soy sauce and make a dipping sauce with chili for the meat.

This is my favorite spot for glass noodles and duck. I've been going here since I was a kid and it's still one of my favorite dishes. And it's at an affordable price as well, so it's a win-win. I always get the glass noodle with duck salad. The noodles and soup is just very warming and has a lot of hearty flavor. The side duck salad is one of my favorites because the duck is always tender and they pack the plate with a lot of greens. I usually never finish the salad because it's so much food, but I always walk out feeling very full. I highly recommend trying this spot if you're looking to have a meal with duck. There's plenty of parking here and the staff is really friendly. There's a lot of complaints about the service, but I never had a problem. The ambiance is fine and there's options between tables or booths. Overall, it's one of my favorite spots in the area!

This is the place I GoTo for bamboo duck noodles soup. Food: I ordered bún măng vịt gỏi vịt. Generous portion, the broth and flavor was just perfect with noodles and bamboo, came with a generous portion plate of duck salad. The duck meat was fresh with shredded cabbage a side of dipping ginger fish sauce, very yummy! Service: no comment. Ambience: decent, small place.

This place used to be A LOT better, but out of all the option that is available for Vietnamese bamboo noodles, this is still in the top for me. They no longer serve duck organs, which is kinda sad but soup is still good. I just feel as though portions are off yet prices are higher. Service is ok. Restaurant has no AC so if it's a hot day, good luck. Tables kinda sticky and honestly nothing memorable for ambiance wise.

This is the best place for Vit lovers, 17$ for each items is a steal when the portions is so big ?. The soup base was tasty and not Msg at all, the noodles and dried bamboo was well cooked. Big slices of Vit with salad and dip it it ginger fish sauces was so good ? the staff is friendly and also they only take cash so make sure to have some. Highly recommended

One star rating! This place was very bad. The customer service is terrible and the lady who served me and my family was rude. The duck also had lots of fat. There was a hair in my noodles that wasn't mine as well. I do not recommend going to this restaurant because they treat their customers terribly and their food is not well made. Never coming back! Do better!!!
