This is a family owned business! The people who work here are super nice. The food is also splendid. My mom and I bought a lot of food and they all tasted good. When we wanted to tip the owner, he would not take it. So we still left some money, and he gave us a nice tea drink. How nice! Love the food! Place is very clean and definitely fits the seafood theme! Totally recommend!

I came here for the Bahn Cahn Cua and House special last week. Food is decent in price and has the best tasting food. My first time here because I am always driving by. Soups are real good and all. I still took home the pork chop and rice. Great place and service. I will be back.

It focuses on the flavor alone.We order three dishes - the catfish and pork belly in claypot, the beef cubes and noodle, and the steamed clams (mild).1. The catfish and pork in claypot was great! It pairs very well with rice, and I enjoyed every bite of the fish! The pork belly is not my personal favorite, though fam liked it.2. The beef cubes with noodle were good.3. The steamed clams were recommended by the waiter/owner. Clams were fresh, and the flavor was on the lighter side - we ordered mild.The drinks are around $5 each (non-alcoholic), and water is $1.5 a bottle (regular water isn’t available).A meal with three dishes, a side of rice, and two drinks come to be around $70. It is definitely on the precise side in Little Saigon area. Seafood does cost more, so the price is about right.Parking: Parking can be challenging during dinner hours.

Service was good, our waiter recommended the clams and also a vegetable dish (not pictured) that we saw everyone ordering. Everything tasted authentic, fresh and amazing! The broth for the clams was so light with a hint of garlic/butter and spice- highly recommend. I would definitely be back to try other items on their menu.

My husband and I wanted seafood, looked for clams on Yelp and found good reviews for Sao Bien. Neither of us speak Vietnamese and were a little overwhelmed by the large menu (it's in both Vietnamese and English). Our waiter was very helpful and patient while we decided what to order. We got clams in lemongrass, a shrimp dish and sea snail salad ... All very good, with some left over for tomorrow. The waiter checked back with us several times to see if we needed anything. Excellent food, excellent service. The restaurant is a bit small; we came early, before 7, and it was fairly empty, but filled up quickly. Many items on the menu look interesting - we'll be back!

We came here for lunch on Monday. We got there right when they opened so we were the first ones there. By the time we finished, the place was filling up with customers. Small dining area but very accommodating. They had cute decorations with a nice ambiance. Ordered a few dishes and they all came out fresh from the kitchen. I really liked their spicy chili sauce they have as a condiment. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Their crawfish and shrimp were delicious. The sauce is kinda sweet and buttery with chunks of garlic. It was amazing, I will totally go back just for that sauce. Great food and decent prices. Service was excellent, as well. Highly recommended!

I thought it tasted like Mai Phung but nah it was smell a bit fishy, each bowl came with half a mushroom, 1/4 of the crab body, and 1 (si, un trozo de camaron) shrimp. I was so disappointed, but I still ate all of it because it was late and I was hungry. The service was outstanding, but still....due to the bad food it outweighed the good service. Sorry Mr. Server. At least I tip $7 bucks for your awesomeness. In conclusion, when the deal is gone these udon bowls will be super over priced.

Came here to dine with my family while visiting in Bolsa! There are raving reviews for sao bien, especially their seafood dishes so we had to hop on that :) They were very busy with one woman rushing around, it got to the point where she gave us her notepad to write down our orders HAHA However, our orders still came out in a timely manner. All the doors were open so it was a bit chilly, but it makes sense since the space is a little cramped I ordered the bo luc lac, which I'll admit, isn't as great as the other places i've been to that serves this dish. The pieces are a bit smaller but it was still very flavorful with the chilis that they provide on the side. The oysters were huge and delicious! I really love how they gave us more than the dozen we ordered with extra limes on top. The crawfish was super meaty and fresh. The sauce was *chefs kiss* over rice, we also got mayonnaise on the side which made it even better. Would definitely come back for the seafood!

We came in with 7 people and they charged us over $30 for just rice!!! The food is mediocre at best. The service was not only slow but they missed out on our order and they have the gall to automatically charged us tip! Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
